This was a great watch! Thank you for recommending it! This was enjoyable to see them in this capacity and I’m looking forward to seeing them more in their respective groups!

This was so fun! Someone's already given the correct pronunciation so I'll let them have that because I've actually always been confused myself as a casual follower of them. I definitely think there's something to their direction involving being very heavy on levels/groupings in the verses and leaning more unison in the chorus, which is something I've noticed in other choreographies from them, especially the title tracks. I mostly heard them brought up in the synchronization conversations amongst kpop fans when they were active, so the whole 12 members being in sync (they're generally cleaner than this but I think the intensity was definitely a priority given the instrumental), was something people really enjoyed. I'm a big fan of their dance breaks (which do often center Chaeyeon), and this is one of the ones that has it built into the original choreography rather than it being a special performance. Loved the analysis as always!

Something also worth noting that hasn't been said. Iz*one were BIG big in their day. They'd probably still be dominating if it wasn't for the temporary contracts as a produce group. They not only set the record for best selling girl group (period, not just kpop) of all time with their debut. They were the only group to beat their record while they were active. 2.5 years is such a blip in time but they utilized every second they could to the max.

they were very much known as a synchronized group, even battling seventeen back when they were active. IZ*One's "nekkoya" dance practice really proves it too, it is the dance practice of their signal song from produce 48, and they were just so good together, i think you should look into them more! even their japanese releases have pretty good choreography too like "suki to iwasetai" and "vampire"
