[WSWF] EPISODE 4 DISCUSSION!

Comments

Never apologize for length!! These are such great points and I can see many of these things take place over the next couple of episodes!

Jessica Holyfield

I wasn’t able to make the livestream but Jess, I swear you read my mind every time, especially the conspiracy theory that Mnet predetermines who they want eliminated. I agree that Mnet’s intention was to probably have Ojo go around this time, but since they have skyrocketed in popularity I could see it being RHTokyo’s exit. With the mega crew eliminations presumably happening tomorrow, I’m assuming we will have 4 teams do another mission or two and then one last elimination battle to end with 3 teams in the finale, so I don’t think it will work out like how SWF Vietnam did. But I 100% am convinced that despite Mnet telling us that the global vote is likes and views, that doesn’t actually equate to what the points are, instead they convert it to some number. For the mega crew missions in s1 and s2, the public vote scores were out of 30 (700-670-640 etc) in season 1 and out of 50 (600-550-500 etc) in season 2, so we could see either of those formats or a completely different one for this season. Additionally, in season 1, the mega crew elimination battle was WANT vs LACHICA, but WANT was the third to last crew, not the second to last, which was CocaNButter. The winning crew, HolyBang, was able to select between WANT and CocaNButter to go against LACHICA. A lot of people are assuming that the elimination will be between AG Squad vs RHTokyo since they are tho two least viewed for the mega crew mission, but my conspiracy is that if Mnet wants to give AG Squad a chance to show that they can battle well, since the first episode edited them to show that they kept losing in battles, then they will probably just go with a bottom 2 scored format. However, if they want to shake things up with a “twist” and possibly have more “entertaining” battles (aka Logistx breakdancing), than I could totally see a s1 format where the winning crew (presumably Bumsup) could choose between Motiv and AG, and they could easily justify picking Motiv to battle since the scores would only be like a 30 point or less difference. Ultimately I still feel that RHTokyo will probably be the team eliminated either way just based on engagement metrics that I have observed since the beginning of the show, but Mnet can easily make things go one way or another based on how they want things to go. Apologies that this was very long but am excited to keep the conspiracy theories going.
