Many of the haters came for 2 reasons. The first was the fans who were introduced to the SWF franchise by the season 2 crews and not the season 1. Hence, when MNET chose the season 1 leaders to represent Team Korea, those toxic fans felt that SWF2 were better and should have been chosen instead. They disrespect the season 1 leaders because they feel it was the season 2 crews who made the franchise famous globally and season 1 leaders had nothing to do with that. This is unjustified hatred and straight-up disrespectful because that was MNET's choice. The second group was those who felt that, because there was only 1 team that represented Korea, MNET, being a Korean TV show and its history of rigging Koreans (as shown in their survival shows) would make BumsUp the winner. Therefore, that biased perspective made them hate everything that BumsUp had brought on the show, even when it was the mega crew, which was their best mission. BumsUp has no say in whether MNET was going to rig the vote or not to their favour, so I do not understand why BumsUp got the hate for that. Now, I will not defend them for the disrespectful commentary they gave to the other crews. That is a combination of MNET's evil editing and the bad choice of words they made on their end. They should be held accountable if they decided to upload those clips themselves. However, I do feel there was a lot of unjustified hatred, which is unfair to BumsUp.

Hey there Sasha! So firstly let me apologize for the impression made where it left you feeling this way. I’m so sorry!! My intention wasn’t to come across with that type of impulsive feeling. I don’t believe that men don’t get a say in the conversation of woman. Never have thought that way and I know how it looked gave that! Where I was coming from (which I should have elaborated) was the lens of the general public’s response of the challenge and concept. From a global standpoint many people were criticizing which teams were more “womanly” compared to others when the criteria was so broad to begin with, it made me feel the need to be an advocate on behalf of the women on the show. I would appreciate it if in the future that because I’m an American or from a western country that it’s not assumed that I would respond or react a certain way. This may tie into your exact point that I may be placed into a “box” or thinking because of where I’m from that you mentioned isn’t the best way to approach topics like this. I want to continuously grow and learn and I will take this feedback and directly apply it!

i understand youre american, and a lot of fellow western countries became more woke and stuff, but why cant a man talk about expressing the theme of women? am i allowed to express and talk about only things i am? am i unable to understand concepts that have nothing to do with me? are we that limited? does it mean we cant for example make movies about the past and express certain feelings because we didnt go through them? so knowing your background i wasnt surprised by the reaction, but its like. why is the first reaction is to ridicule or laught about it? you may disagree on his view, and disagree it represent well the concept of women or how it would need to be represented, but that immediate reaction just seems like a typical culture brain wash, to jump and take offense.
