2024-07-15 07:18:33 +0000 UTCugh ur going to enjoy great dance crew so much. its so fun and messy and full of random rules lol its a chaotic show but the dancing is really great big names and popular girls from other shows and media as well. like Akane/Maomao the locker who was on the most recent sdc season

Only watched the first couple episodes when the Great Dance Crew came out, and my impression was that it was geared even more towards casual viewers than SDC is, and like others suggested maybe the skill level of the dancers aren't quite the same. SDC 5 is the year where the competition format wasn't great and the pacing was really bad at times due to scheduling issues, but that really doesn't take away from how good the competitors are. In terms of viewing experience I would probably take SDC S2 over either of these. It's just unfortunate that all the earlier seasons including S3 have been riddled with muted out copyright music on youtube haha
