I've made peace that he lost since then, but when I first saw it, the epiphany moment at the end had me floored. (also there's a 15-minute blackout right after that so I didn't catch your reaction to the results)

I get that they wanted to appreciate his effort, but they could've done it in a different way than the neck-to-neck first two rounds.
