2024-09-19 08:52:48 +0000 UTCon the topic of jaden jeong, while I can sympathize with his problems with bbc and then going back on their words of agreeing to persist with his creative vision, (and the video does cover this but it might have been too brief that you might have not noticed + he was referred to as creative director rather than his name) I just want to note that jaden also has a bit of an unsavory history with the loona members themselves as well ESPECIALLY the yyxy girls. as shown in the video, he (and bbc) made the loona members in general go on ridiculous strict diets to where they had to think up of ways to get food without him and the company knowing but with yyxy specifically, he basically starved them during the unit’s debut filming which is why you don’t see any of those four members (yves, chuu, gowon, and hyeju) in his company modhaus with artms also another thing to note is that not only did bbc not pay the loona members, it was later revealed that bbc also didn’t pay their staff and any outside source that worked with them such as make up and costuming team, digipedi, choreographers, etc. for months/years as well. the people that worked with them said that they only continued to work with them was purely out of the love they had for the loona members themselves

Besides the multiple kinds of abuse they were also consistently given the least lines and stage time to a drastic degree. For example vivi, who left Hong Kong for 6 years to be in loona, only had 2.5 minutes worth of lines in their entire discography as 12 members
