The music video for “new” was directed by DigiPedi. He captures fatal images of Yves, who takes a bite of the apple on purpose to be exiled to the earth. The supporting track “D-1” is a French-pop style track with trivial emotions and stories of a girl told in a classy way. Just as ‘Love & Live’, ‘Love & Evil’, ‘Mix & Match’, and ‘Max & Match’ have, LOOΠΔ shuffles and swaps words to toughen its Mobius strip to become one."

I know you mentioned that you've done some lore diving by now in the replies to one of my previous comments but I would like to continue providing some lore stuff just in case you hadn't come across some of the lore details I'm writing about! starting with the basics which I'm sure you know by now, yves officially cements in the representative fruits for the rest of the loona members with hers being the apple, a constant motif in the entire MV. she is also the first member to have the moon at the beginning go in the reverse direction which shows us that the story is taking place in a world that mirrors 1/3's earth all of loona's sub-unit sing about and represent different types of love and how they approach love is very different as well. 1/3 is about innocent, youthful, and slightly more traditional love where they're girls who are more shy and are willing to wait to be approached rather than being the ones to approach the person they love themselves. oec is about girls who are more straightforward (often seen as girl crush) and they don't like to wait for love to come to them but rather for them to be the ones to find it themselves. and yyxy bring us a more meaningful and important type of love and lesson (not to say that 1/3's and oec's representation of love aren't important or meaningful) which is self-love and learning to accept yourself for you no matter what other people might think. each yyxy member go through their own process of learning to love themselves. yves sings about letting go of the shackles that once held her down which were placed on her by others and their expectations. she resolves that she's going to be true to and love herself no matter what. and through that process she discovers a "new" her. yves also introduces a lot of biblical references in her MV, specifically about eden. a lot of orbits speculate that she is meant to represent eve from adam and eve hence the many shots of her biting into the apple. this is meant to represent that she rejects the ideals of eden which had prevented her from being her true self and is willing to fall from it so that she can learn to truly love herself even if it means that she has to endure pain and hardship. and yes that is indeed vivi roller skating with yves which harkens back to vivi's MV where she was roller skating with that guy (as I mentioned in her video, the guy was meant to represent yves but she hadn't debuted yet at the time). also the numbers in the elevator actually references other loona members before you see them. you see the number 9 first which is yves herself and then the number 8 which represent choerry who appears at the end and catches the apple which is meant to show that yves is trying to pass a message to another member through choerry since choerry is the only one that can freely traverse through all three worlds and lastly you see the number 5 which is vivi who you see right after in the bowling alley with the roller skates. you also see oec's colors on the claw machine and then you see yves pick up a stuffed frog and owl with it connecting yeojin and kim lip to yves as well. in a behind the scenes photo, we actually see that there were other stuffed animals representative of other members such as the bunny, fruit bat, and penguin. also each member of yyxy meant to mirror a member of 1/3. yves' mirror is vivi which is why vivi appears here but also the two of them are considered to be really connected in the lore despite that as well. I won't go into details about all of that specifically because there are lot of differing theories why and how they're connected. also fun fact! yyxy was called the eden unit by fans before their unit name was officially revealed since their lore strongly referenced eden throughout
