As you can see I am catching up on your comments haha! This was SUCH a lore heavy one that I totally get how it feels like a lot is covered and a lot still unrevealed at the same time! LOVED getting to dive into the lore catchups very soon after this!!!

2024-10-16 11:20:54 +0000 UTChyeju's mv description: "Since the debut of HeeJin in October 2016, LOOΠΔ has finally announced its twelfth member Olivia Hye to complete its line-up. With the largest scale and the longest period of debut promotion in the K-pop history, LOOΠΔ has been building its own universe carefully to build credibility in the quality of music and the trust in the team among fans. LOOΠΔ 1/3 has gone around the world to unite the girls, and released 'Love&Live' and 'Love&Evil' to show the process of transformation to explain the universe of LOOΠΔ for the first time. LOOΠΔ / ODD EYE CIRCLE gathered three odd girls to complete a big circle with colors as the central idea. Last four girls are remaining. Starting with Yves, Chuu and Go Won talk about their ego. The ego is seen as a girl who admires someone, or envies another. Sometimes, it starts from self-loathing or disappointment in oneself. However, they come to a realization that self-awareness is not decided upon or created by somebody else, but build by oneself by starting to love oneself. With novelty, excitement, and uniqueness. Although it may seem selfish, the process of completing one's ego with loving oneself is captured in the story. Olivia Hye's titled track 'Egoist’ starts with calm melodies to eventually encounter provocative beats to take a step towards loving oneself instead of someone else. Pop melodies mix with EDM beats to build up until a dramatic fall at the beat drop, which then is brought to salvation by JinSoul's rap. Also, the music video features Olivia Hye's dynamic movements, along with hidden cuts around the narratives of LOOΠΔ. Go Won and Olivia Hye's duet 'Rosy' is a song that talks about the beautiful yet thorny emotions between 2 girls that draws them like a compass but wrecking them simultaneously without a place to escape to, in which they are being kind but chic, friendly but not close, have feelings for each other but finds it annoying to date each other. After the introduction of its twelfth member Olivia Hye, LOOΠΔ will spend April as the preparation period until the new unit will be unveiled in May. There will also be an event in May with a whole new concept announced for the fans."

2024-10-05 20:19:33 +0000 UTCso much happening in MV and I'm sure I'm not gonna remember to cover even like half of it lol but as always I'll just try to highlight some of the bigger overall lore aspect hyeju's journey of self-love is about learning to let go of those who have hurt you (yves being the person to have hurt her lore-wise) and learning to love yourself instead even if others view it to be selfish. this is, of course, depicted at the end when hyeju is embracing herself. also hyeju's color is actually silver/grey, but she actually have two secondary colors which is black and white. starting with jinsoul's feature, the words behind her as pointed out by another commenter translate to "fallen angel." there are several theories out there that argues about whether or not the fallen angel being referenced is either jinsoul or hyeju. jinsoul because the words were shown during her scene and hyeju because we see her waking up on a bed cover in feathers as shown in the beginning showcasing that she just fell from eden. I personally don't really have much preference for one or the other, I think both theories make a lot of sense either way. another interesting thing to note is that some orbits think that the fallen angel sign is also a reference to a hong kong (where vivi is from) movie called fallen angels from 1995 since the sign was written in cantonese, the main language of hong kong. this is relevant to jinsoul because she was said to have been discovered by vivi in a basement in hong kong. the movie itself shares a lot similarities with hyeju's mv such as hectic and chaotic visuals, dark colors mixed with bright neon, and themes like isolation, loneliness, and a yearning for connection. during jinsoul's scenes, you can see her eating cherries, which can mean that she borrowed choerry's power as a way to get to hyeju and talk to her as seen by her whispering in hyeju's ear after removing an earphone from hyeju's ear. this also connects back to sweet crazy love of jinsoul on the subway by herself and her headphone was removed by an unknown person. so this seems to be indicating that the person who removed her headphones was hyeju and now jinsoul is doing it to her. we also see a lot of flashes and scenes with a claw which references back to yves' video where she is shown using the claw machine. and of course, we get heejin at the end thus connecting the first girl with the last girl and showing that heejin is hyeju's mirror and thus the loop once again repeats.

2024-09-15 00:53:28 +0000 UTCMy comments on this one: -The sign behind Jinsoul in her rap translates to 'Fallen Angel' -It was revealed in the behind the scenes that Heejin played the 2nd Hyeju in the scenes with 2 of her -You are correct about the bookend scene at the end. It was quite the impactful moment for the fandom. -The scene of the stuffed animal burning was actually Yves' Cygnet

2024-09-14 04:08:48 +0000 UTCHer fruit is the blood plum, that’s what she’s eating in the mv and why it looks like she has blood on her lips. Also her animal is a wolf!

2024-09-14 02:56:28 +0000 UTCYeah, so Hyeju's animal is actually a wolf and the fruit she was biting into was a blood plum if I remember correctly! I also believe for the timeline of the lore, Hyeju's song/MV actually takes place after what happens in YYXY's "Love4eva" so the lyrics of Hyeju's song will make even more sense after you watch the "Love4eva" MV! Also, I wanted to say how much fun it is watching you go through your LOONA journey! They were always my favorite group and it's giving me so much nostalgia following you on this trip! Thank you for your continuous hard work Jess and please continue to take care of yourself <3
