The music video has references to historical and fictional figures such as the artist Rene Magritte, Hans Christian Andersen’s short story “The Little Match Girl”, and John Appleby’s novel “Aphrodite Means Death”. The supporting track “Girl’s Talk” is a duet by Chuu and Yves, a rendition of a daily dialogue between two girls. Sweet but sometimes secretive, the precious chats between the girls get reinterpreted to become a song. G-High of Monotree, who has produced HeeJin’s “ViViD” and LOOΠΔ / ODD EYE CIRCLE’s “Uncover”, crafts the track to perfection to prove the quality When four girls who denied the garden of Eden gathers, the party begins."

2024-10-05 17:33:03 +0000 UTCCHUUUUU OUR GAY QUEEN!!! but yes! it's definitely the gay anthem for orbits and has been played multiple times at pride parades in south korea! alas another solo song that many fans were waiting for the choreo version for and only got to see for the first time during one of their concerts after years of waiting. chuu's MV shows that she learns to love herself through her love for yves. as you mentioned, throughout the MV, she is constantly pursuing yves and trying to copy her but yves ignores her for practically all of it until the very end when she bites into the green apple. this can be interpreted as yves not wanting to acknowledge chuu until chuu learns to accept herself (rather than copy yves) and love herself which is represented by her biting into her fruit. but her fruit is the strawberry, not the green or red apple, which can mean that her biting into the green apple that turns red and the events that happens after it is all false or a dream since the apple is yves' fruit, not chuu's and by biting into it chuu is still trying to copy yves. but in this dream she does end up biting into her actual representative fruit encouraged by yves, meaning that she was able to learn to love herself while in that dream. also chuu's MV is actually based on the children's story (there are actually a lot of references to children's fairytales in the loonaverse in general such as heejin's MV was also based on cinderella and yeojin's more obvious one with the princess and the frog), the little match girl, hence her being stranded in the snow and catching hypothermia and "dying" at the end. but of course that is only meant to represent her fall from eden after eating her fruit. haseul shows up and helps her wake up in her carol outfit, which hints to us that she is chuu's mirror in 1/3. at the beginning of the MV, you see that the clock's hand is on 10 o'clock representing chuu as she is the 10th member. oh and as an important note, anytime you see a set like chuu's where it's very closed off with a bunch of walls, pastel colors, and sort of just overall feels empty like an absence of people, it means that they're in eden so that means that this MV took place when yves and chuu was still in eden together until the end. fun fact about chuu! orbits actually figured out that chuu was gonna be the 10th member of loona before she was officially revealed because she used to be pretty popular on instagram in south korea (with 13k followers at the time). if I recall correctly, a fan of chuu at the time saw that yves' phone had a sticker that chuu was given on her birthday and so fans started connecting the dots that chuu was going to be the next member. another fun fact about yves and chuu, they actually met each other at a dance academy and chuu was apparently sitting very quietly in a cap when yves saw her so yves wanted to befriend chuu because yves found her to be relatable. so yves ended up chasing chuu into the elevator and actually stopped the doors from closing as chuu was on it to ask for her number. it's so funny because that literally feels like a scene from a kdrama. they also starred in the same web drama together as extras a little bit after they became friends.

2024-09-13 01:15:10 +0000 UTCYes Chuu is pursuing Yves in the MV. Chuu's animal is indeed a Penguin while Yves is a Swan. The stuffed animal they used for her doesnt make it very obvious but it is a baby swan aka a Cygnet. Right! Haseul is the member at the end that found Chuu after she fell from Eden and she is wearing her outfit from the original The Carol MV with the song playing in the background if you listen closely. The whole MV she is trying to copy and get noticed by Yves and only when she decides to love herself as well does Yves actually start to notice/see her. This is represented at the end when she bites into the green apple and it turns red. Then you see them having fun together while eating strawberries, Chuu's fruit, symbolizing her rejection of Eden and joining Yves on earth.
