The ones I noticed were Ingrid and Jojo, but I suspect there were others as well. Surprisingly, kprofiles actually has a list of all the members, with updates as to what they did during the show. I can totally understand all of this and my heart REALLY goes out to him with that as well. I am hopeful that he doesn't feel too much sense of responsibility since a lot of his intention was there but he wasn't allowed to partake the way he wanted. I totally get that. He did they best he could in the circumstances he was given and I know this was a good learning opportunity for him.

2024-09-17 02:33:40 +0000 UTCSo I think the reason Santa wanted to do a Michael Jackson theme was to introduce the dancers to Michael Jackson. That's why he wanted them to watch the movie and video was to understand what type of dance Michael did, not to learn how to dance from, but to get an introduction to. He has been a super big proponent of trying to teach the culture behind street dance. He wants dancers in China to understand the origins of the different street styles. Maybe he could have accomplished this in another way? Afterall, he was still only 23 at the start of this show, even if he had been teaching since he was 14. He wanted them to wear the hats through the whole dance, the dancers did not want to. He also started with the basics teaching them how to do isolations. This was all in the behind the scenes video. He wanted to spend more time practicing with them but WJJW (the company overseeing his group) did not let him, that's why he was in tears for his dancers, he felt responsible.

2024-09-16 20:22:52 +0000 UTCAbout the practice time, remember they had a 2 month delay due to quarantine measures. So you can see where with some dancers they took full advantage of the 2 months like Haruna, and with some dancers they might have lost some motivation or got discouraged and let their performance suffer a bit. I could imagine it being really difficult to be thrown such a curveball from what was expected.
