Grimes) E-TRIBE, the maestro of dance music known for producing SNSD’s ‘Gee’, and an upcoming production team ‘BADD’ have collaborated to produce the track where the members of LOOΠΔ/yyxy completed “love4eva” with their various voice colors and expressive emotions. Sudden encounter of a crush. They sing that it is not just a process to get the person to love you back, but their emotion itself is what is lovable and precious. Also, the news that one of the hippest artists in the world, Grimes, will be featuring in the track have raised a fervor in the pop scene around the globe. The beats lay on the start of the girls with blessing and grace by Grimes, the creator of her own musical universe. The music video was shot exclusively in Budapest, Hungary with LOOΠΔ’s video director Digipedi. The director captures LOOΠΔ/yyxy’s process of completing their ego, which may be a ‘new’ ‘heart attack’ which is ‘one&only’ and ‘egoist’ in their own each way. frozen “frozen” aurally mesmerizes the audiences with oriental story-telling on top of a westernized beats. The melodies of the verse start in the spring passes through summer, where it reaches the chorus and hits you like winter, until flowers bloom again. one way “one way” actually is a track that has been kept aside for a long time to be used in a concept album titled ‘LOOΠΔ the Ballad’. ‘LOOΠΔ the Ballad’ which will be released in May 2019, is an album composed of ballad songs with the best melodies among many common ballad numbers. “one way” is a sneak preview for what is to come, through the emotional expressions in the voices of LOOΠΔ/yyxy. I do remember that there is art of icarus and flying too close to the sun, which is something loona has referenced a few times, specifically jinsoul, yves, and hyeju about "the sin of swallowing the sun" and yves actually makes a direct reference to icarus in new with the lines "willing to get closer to the sun, flapping of the burnt wings." there is also artwork of ovid's metamorphoses (a poem) which is roman mythology's version of the creation of the universe and artwork of the son of apollo trying to prove his relation to apollo by attempting to drive the sun chariot across the sky but in the end loses control of it and is struck down by jupiter (zeus' roman alter ego) so that it would not destroy the earth. also in the artwork, apollo's son's friend is depicted turning into a swan. the song that's playing in the background is a german song called das heimliche lied by loius spohr based on a poem by ernst koch. it depicts the emotions of secret and desolate pain, longing, joy, and peace. the verses of the song matches each member's entrance. the part about secret pain and longing belonging to yves and chuu, joy and peace belonging to go won, and the final verse about desolate pain belonging to hyeju. one also shows us that each member of yyxy represent a specific emotion, yves being faith, chuu being love, go won being hope, and hyeju being anger. one also shows us that yyxy is one being but split into four girls and four emotions (not to be confused with dissociative identity disorder). they reflect the human experience where we all feel good and negative emotions and we must be able to accept the negative emotions along with the good to be able to truly accept and love ourselves. also! the yyxy logo is meant to be a new chromosome that represents them as one being! love4eva follows the story of each girls' solo MVs but shown in a more concrete and "realistic" linear storyline. eden is depicted as a strict boarding school where they must follow the strict rules and never go off on their own. yves is the first show curiosity for the world outside of the gates, chuu soon follows after her, then go won, leaving behind hyeju who eventually follows them to earth out of anger towards them for abandoning her in the forest. although personally I think instead of them fully abandoning her, she might have gotten lost in the forest instead (maybe a symbolism for her not wanting to eat the fruit yet) just like yeojin and she might have just mistook the rest of yyxy for abandoning her. the main theory of them leaving her behind also makes a lot of sense though so I enjoy both my own personal theory and the main theory of what happens with them. you also go won is the only one to look back at hyeju as they run off into the forest which sort of gives us a hint that there is a bigger connection between her and hyeju. there are some theories that talk about go won being the one to go back to save hyeju in like different timelines and such. something interesting to note about the scenes of them eating the rose is that it's part of the rose family (rosaceae) obviously but the rose family also consists of apples, strawberries, and plums. so it's meant to be a different way to show them eating their forbidden fruits again. another interesting thing though is that go won's fruit, the pineapple, is not a part of the rose family, which sort of highlights her as the outlier in the unit like I mentioned previously during her video. fun fact about yyxy in general, I actually think this was mentioned in the video about loona's lawsuit already, but all the members in this unit had the shortest training period with bbc compared to the other eight members and they were basically strangers to each other (except for yves and chuu) compared to the other unit members who already knew each other from their time as trainees. it was very fun watching them warm up to each other and become family and also the most chaotic unit out of the units. and to answer your question about yves with the heat pads all over her body, it's probably because all four members were super super busy at this time since they had to prepare for their unit debut, unit promotions, pre-debut concert, and official full group debut and full group promotions which would soon follow. yves in particular is known to work very hard and pushes herself a lot. I mean all of the girls are very hard working of course, but I think yves sort of pushes it to another level a lot of times. the O and T is both capitalized in favOriTe which a lot of fans have taken as them hinting about the fandom name being orbit.
