2024-10-21 04:05:57 +0000 UTCYou get to go to ALL the concerts!!! I am so glad you were able to experience them! I'm really hoping that I'll be able to go to the 2ne1 concert if they make a couple stops in the US! If it's possible for my group to have a CB World tour after 8 years, surely LOONA will meet as an OT12 again!

2024-10-21 03:55:09 +0000 UTCThis is incredible and justly deserved! Now what needs to happen is all the LOONA members in their respective units need to take over the US music market (it is in a DUMPSTER FIRE right now with the Diddy case and who it all involves) .. I am pulling for continued success OUTSIDE OF BBC because they need to get their mess taken care of!

2024-10-11 03:55:25 +0000 UTCthis era (specifically the concert this clip is from) was such a mix bag of happiness and sadness because we finally got haseul back but then we lost chuu and orbits got so desperate for ot12 that anytime we saw a full group line up we'd just immediately start counting to see if there were 11 or 12 members. I even still do that now rewatching some of these group performances. but voice/star became a much bigger success for loona than I think bbc or loona expected since it was SUCH a good song and not only that but it was like one of the rare kpop songs with a proper and cohesive english version (at least based on my experience and I was pretty active within kpop in general back then) which granted is not a requirement of good music obviously but it was nice to see that they had obviously put in a lot of effort with the song overall. if I recall correctly this was during the time when bbc was trying to push loona onto the u.s. market (and japan as well signing with universal music japan) more and they even signed with warner music group to be the ones in charge of their international album distribution. star was so popular on the radio that it made loona the first solo kpop girl group and second kpop girl group overall (blackpink being the first) to make it onto the mainstream top 40/pop play chart. It stayed on the chart for nine weeks which is the longest any female korean artist has stayed on the chart. and all of this was achieved organically by the fans NOT bbc (because of course not). a bunch of orbits collaborated and contacted all of the top radio channels and promoted the song as much as they could and it worked! orbits really stayed being loona's number one promoters and pr team. bbc could never

2024-10-10 20:21:15 +0000 UTComg and yes BBC did do that! they took advantage of fan theories and “built” on it. Daebak Jjang left before Jaden did tho. thats why you see so many small tidbits of lore scattered throughout.

2024-10-01 19:33:52 +0000 UTCStar will always be one of my favorite songs in K-pop. It was during that era where the retro synth wave sound was really making its way into the K-pop mainstream and I ate it all up. Fun fact about Star though is that it actually charted on billboard on the US Mainstream Top 40 peaking at 31 and I actually heard it on US radio and even in some stores. The teasers for the & comeback were some of the most hype I have ever experienced as a fan. Specifically the &3 teaser I think I replayed 100s of times before the release. I think its one of the best teasers for a comeback I've ever seen. The visuals are just stunning.

2024-10-01 17:54:12 +0000 UTCI remember the hype when that first new moon teaser came out and we saw Iceland, the green color, and Haseul flashing at the end since it was teasing her official return from hiatus! And wow that live performance brought back such a wave of memories. That LOONA tour was the first and only concert I've ever been to! I'm glad I was able to go see them before the group ended... ToT But at least they're happier and get to be active again in their new groups, which just means there are more concerts to support and attend! >:3

2024-10-01 10:18:00 +0000 UTCoof that 2022 tour was the start of the end. as you can see chuu wasn't present here and throughout the tour different members became absent for different legs of the tour or kept coming in and out of shows for various health reasons... by the end of the tour there were only 4 of them who performed at all the shows.
