2024-10-03 21:52:37 +0000 UTCIf it's any consolation, she got a metric ton of hate comments/hate vids etc. for her appearances on Street Fighter so I highly doubt she'll want to do it again, lol. Although I do find it slightly regretful she wasn't a judge on the season with Akanen if only because I really enjoyed Akanen's stint as one of BoA's dancers in 2014~2015-ish.

Love also that it's standing the test of time and is something noted from many idols across the generations! Still wished she was a better judge on Street Fighter but we will pick our battles haha

Because of the whole gimmick of bringing various kpop idols on to do the partner portion of the choreo on live stages I feel like (especially in the current day) people tend to focus only on that segment and not on BoA at all when they look at this choreo. So I'm glad we could look at the choreo overall! BoA's relationship with Nappytabs began a year of so before Only One was released, because Nappytabs were the choreographers for the Hollywood dance movie (Make Your Move) that she co-starred with Derek Hough in, hahaha. It is a pretty terrible movie overall but has very nice choreo and execution LOL. BoA is the primary composer and lyricist of this track and actually wrote the song specifically because she wanted to do a lyrical hiphop-esque choreo! It wasn't supposed to be the title track originally but was changed to become the title track because Lee Soo Man saw the choreo and was like, this should be the title track. The initially planned title track, The Shadow, has a noticeably higher budget MV (that has also aged more poorly due to the special effects, haha).
