While resonance was a mashup, it did include all I believe 23 members at the time? On the topic of lineups, the baggy jeans members are actually the same as the “seventh sense lineup” which are the original members who first operated under the name NCT!! The OG’s! I believe this is the first time since seventh sense that they all did a release together with the same lineup, so it was definitely exciting when this one came out!

It's basically like this, SM gets a Song and thinks "Ten and Taeyong would sound great on this one" so they get it and record it, just the two of them, that's getting put out under NCT u. Basically it's like.... Special Edition Releases? Nearly None of the units for nct u are the same, they have anything between 2 and I think the largest was 10 members from ANY unit. Just whoever from nct suits a song and concept. Baggy Jeans in particular, is the same Unit that put out the FIRST EVER NCT Song 7th Sense!

There's a key change, added breaks in the percussion, more vocal layers that create a bit of harmonic dissonance and it's purposely overwhelming musicly in a way that's definitely a risk lol. I'm Neo-brained, so it's my favorite part (and Sticker is one of my favorite tracks from them), but I definitely understand how it doesn't work for everyone sonically. Loved the analysis as always, there's something about the musicality of the chorus that scratches my brain right and I'm a big fan or how brazen the NCT units can be in doing odd things and just committing to it. And as a long-term fan of theirs, it's always a fun experience seeing people react to them.
