I'm not familiar with any of these groups so I'm just watching for the performances, and Younite really popped off

sioxey

Watched the visual, SUPER similar in aesthetics! Loved this set from them! They should be SUPER proud!!!

I don't know if it's because I'm a big reader or if their performance was inspired by it, but Younite's concept reminded me of the webtoon "School Bus Graveyard". The two links at the bottom show some things it reminded me of. https://www.tiktok.com/@kaori12o4/video/7355717094568234246?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id=7428774837252572703 https://pin.it/2jqVdA8ci

I also saw that Born Black Team comented on the video of Luna, so they are the ones that worked with Oneus for this round. Also some fans said this song its like tragedy too because when they were promoting this on music shows because of covid fans couldnt attend and for this is also without public.

Talking a bit more about Oneus Luna i think Seoho being the ace its great also because he was the one that said, when he first heard the song, THIS NEEDS TO BE A TITTLE not just a theater release because the song was too good; so they made a ppt fo show the director and convince him. That is why the theater version of Luna its different (this version was release after the MV for Luna), they made changes to it so it will be more like a tittle song not a b-side and with that song in mind they put out the BLood Moon album.

Oh man... My heart hopes that there are staff there advocating for them to some degree. I am so sad that this is a "normal" for them and that's partially why I try to make people aware that these are people at the end of the day who need to sleep as much a you.. But because of our screens and consumption we forget that. I'm hoping that they will have a chill enough schedule (between now and finals) to actually feel like they can prep for things. I'm pulling for them to have an INCREDIBLE stage!!

Thankfully, it doesn't seem like Cravity's viewing RTK2 as a wholly awful experience. Hyeongjun's spoken a lot about his personal struggles after he ranked as the 7th place ace (they have an RTK interview series on the Cravity channel aside from the bts stuff) where he said he couldn't face the members or luvity but that the fancon really assuaged him. This interview is also where he mentioned that they didn't know what was allowed for RTK2 so they prepared less than other groups. The other members are always reassuring luvitys that they're okay and that they're more worried for us lmao since they're taking this as a learning experience. Serim and Woobin are a big part of their support system, where Serim always listens and empathizes with their feelings and Woobin always tells them to stop worrying (in a good way where he assures them their worries won't come true). Also of course, luvitys made Cravity 1st place in streaming for both Round 1 and Round 2 (currently trying for round 3 as well), which they've mentioned has also made them proud. Honestly, this was a huge learning experience for me personally about how strong the bond between Cravity and luvitys is. I would say… many Cravity members are in the same boat as Enhypen where they think their schedules are fine when they haven't had a break longer than 4 days at most (and that was only this year) since debut. It's really heartbreaking hearing the members say that they don't need rest and they want to stay busy so that they don't overthink :( They've been overworked since debut so I think they're just used to it now too… For context, their debut year was… debut + 2 comebacks with 2.5 month long promotions each, a fan concert, award show performances, etc. The tail end of this was Mammoth, My Turn, and Bad Habits so you can see it took a toll on both Cravity and their team,,, They weren't even allowed to go home for the holidays for the first one or two years after their debut, I believe. I could say a lot more about how Starship's managed Cravity but… yeah…

Goodness gracious.... I am so sorry that they are pulling an "ATEEZ" schedule right now.. That is brutal and I have a feeling that may be a contributing factor to if they don't end up wanting anything to do with the show (like pretty much all KLW groups) and that really is unfortunate!!! I am really pulling for ALL the fans to stream away so all the groups feel the love during this time!!! I can also 100% understand how being saturated within a certain mindset can really shift how you are able to view things (ENHYPEN being an example for sure right now with thinking their schedule is "fine" when literally the rest of the world is like "yo.... SLEEP guys.." I really hope Cravity is able to find some joy through the busyness! Thank you as always for translating for me!!!

I believe the main reason why Cravity's staff really dropped the ball with this one was because between the 2nd round (Sept 10) and the 3rd round (October 7 filming), they had been putting all their resources and time into preparing and practicing for their fan con (Sept 28&29). Both fan cons were around 4.5 hours long with multiple covers that they had to learn + they performed songs like Flame and Break All The Rules which they haven't performed since like 2022 that they had to re-learn. Their performance director for RTK2 and the fan con are both the same person/people. I think they really just lacked time since they had so much on their plate, hence the overuse of unison choreography. I also think Starship likely focused much more on their preparations for the fan con rather than Round 3, unfortunately. If you do watch their behind videos, you might get an idea of just how busy they've been throughout RTK (both individually and as a team) so yeah…,, Another thing that Hyeongjun specifically has mentioned is that, even from the pre-round, they were being very conservative with their use of props. They only realized after that they could do more large-scale stuff. You can also see this in how Hyeongjun's ace battle with Hwanwoong, Hyeongjun just danced with no props at all. I think that probably contributed as well. They likely underestimated the theme of "No Limit" this time as well, hence the lackluster sets and props in comparison to other groups. Starship has also been well known to be stingy when it comes to spending money on Cravity as well… so I think that's affected not only the members, but also their staffs' attitude going onto RTK2. If you look through their previous stages again, their props and stage devices don't really… look like they cost much (aside from the large hand) and so, so many of their props broke during their practices so Starship really cheaped out on them. So far, I'm not aware of any budget limitations or anything of that sort for RTK2. I wouldn't be surprised if there was but I honestly don't think there is anything. The Cravity members are currently in Hong Kong right now having just finished their fan concert and doing some other schedules. They haven't gone live often since then to talk more about the behind the scenes of Round 3 but, on a lighter note, let me share what Minhee said their story this time was (not verbatim): So in the beginning, the members are trapped in the boxes, suffering from… (wait for it) the coronavirus 💀 Serim grabs the gas masks and inhales the "venom." He borrows the venom's power to free themselves from the coronavirus💀 and is suffering. The red smoke is supposed to symbolize how when one of them (Serim) suffers, the rest of them also suffer. In the end, Serim decides to use the venom's weakness, fire, to burn away his suffering and also the other members' suffering. Minhee said this represents their story of debuting right when covid started (April 14, 2020) and Cravity's story of overcoming their hardships caused by covid (*cough aka starship making them think they'd disband Imo cough*) together with each other.
