Love how vastly different each member can be in similar spaces 😂 I get the feeling of encountering a mentor positioned person after receiving heavy criticism. Very happy that he was able to receive compliments because I know that will be a good redemptive area for him!

He said he didn't want to meet Choi Youngjoon because he still has PTSD and that he still hasn't recovered from that time (in a joking/lighthearted way). He did mention that Choi Youngjoon complimented him a lot though :') Minhee also said that he worked really hard to get close to the other members of the Water team even though he's usually very, painfully shy around new people. (This is really funny actually because Minhee's been complaining that all the other groups have only been asking for Jungmo's number and he was jealous.) And well, to no one's surprise, Taeyoung said he's become friends with everyone in the Fire team lmao

And I hope Minhee doesn’t get a cold with all that water, but I also had the thought that if he is more wet, he could possibly stand out more 😂, but I’m also wanting them to not kill themselves on dancing in the water.. I’m happy that the members are able to redeem some of their time from the past survival shows, even if it’s just luvitys that feel that way haha ♥️

2024-10-25 17:29:43 +0000 UTCInteresting to point out how a different cultural perspective would influence who stands out to you individually. I know for me (even though I may be a bit biased as a Cravity fan) Taeyoung definitely stood out in the fire stage but as someone from the States I would probably have a different perspective than most of the audience voting. I feel that Taeyoung has a very western influence in his style and I know he started with house dance and fell in love with dance through it so I wonder if that also plays a part in why I was drawn to him in the fire stage. I think it's interesting the strategy with who the aces are as well; 8turn and the crewone each sent both of their main dancers (both of atbo's for the crewone), oneus sent a main dancer and a main rapper, tempest sent a main rapper and main vocal, cravity sent a lead vocal and lead dancer, and younite sent two rappers. To me the 3 members who stood out in each stage were the members with dance positions in their respective groups (Seunghwan, Hwanwoong, and Jaeyun for water and Taeyoung, Junseok, and Seunghwan for fire) which would definitely be advantageous in a challenge like this.

2024-10-25 11:30:10 +0000 UTCAlso the aces that stood out to me aside from, of course, Minhee and Taeyoung on first watch were: - Water: Sion (Younite, I liked how he executed the choreo) and Seunghwan (TCO, I felt like he got some good camera time and made use of it) - Fire: Hyungseok (Younite, honestly I just really liked his parts of the song lmao) and Myungho (8Turn, he got a lot of center time and he really committed to the vibe of the song) I did feel what you felt as well with TCO's Junseok not committing as much to the song, although I'm not really sure why I feel that way either considering I initially thought he'd be a good fit for the Fire concept. The rest of my thoughts… I'll comment once you've watched the ep and know the rankings. Oh, if you do want to watch it, the full cam is out for both the Water and Fire stages. They're… interesting to say the least 🤔 One thing that does upset me as a luvity is how Minhee's always positioned directly under the line of where the water sprinklers are, leading him to look so drenched by the end while all the other aces aren't nearly as wet,,,

2024-10-25 09:55:16 +0000 UTCI also want to add that luvitys viewed the Water stage as sort of a redemption arc for Minhee. For context, Choi Youngjoon was one of the trainers during Produce X 101 (PDX) and he was one of the people who ranked Minhee as an X rank (aka the lowest rank who were supposed to be sent home since they didn't have the calibre of skills to be on the show, Hyeongjun was ranked as X rank too). Luvitys really view RTK2 as a whole as a way for Minhee, Hyeongjun, Wonjin, and Jungmo to redeem themselves and I guess "heal" from their experience with PDX / mnet. Although, of course, this is just how luvitys view it. The Cravity members haven't really mentioned anything about it (but they're also mostly banned from speaking about PDX by both mnet, starship, and the general public).

2024-10-25 09:42:18 +0000 UTCSo I mentioned earlier in our chats that their company stylists were the ones who chose their outfits. The reason why I personally know this as a luvity is because Minhee was very prominently shown in the teaser a few days ago with his… well… lace bra and so he went on live to clarify since luvitys were a mess. He said that when he first received his outfit from their stylist, it was just the lace bra (not clear if the button up was there too) and the black stomach band wasn't there. He thought, "this is not it" so he asked the stylist to add on the stomach band to cover his stomach lmao. Apparently Cravity's stylists thought everyone else would show that much skin (hence Taeyoung's outfit also showing his entire stomach and even the patch covering his rib tattoo) and Minhee was surprised to see everyone else dressed so conservatively for the Water stage.
