Oh and I'm not sure if you've seen but mnet's also released some more extra content. They've had one vocal ace vid, two dance ace vids, and one visual ace vid. The aces were: Vocal ace Seoho (Oneus), Woobin (Cravity), Hyuk (Tempest), Eunho (Younite), Junhyuk (TNX), Myungho (8Turn), Bain (TCO) -> All of them sang one song each (Kinda salty that this means they're probably not gonna get spotlighted in the episodes themselves… even RTK had like a special vocal stage during finale) Dance ace Hwanwoong (Oneus), Taeyoung (Cravity), Hanbin (Tempest), Sion (Younite), Taehun (TNX), Jaeyoon (8Turn), Junseok (TCO) -> Relay dance vid + random play dance vid (including their own songs) ETA because I forgot this Physical ace Leedo (Oneus), Minhee (Cravity), Eunchan (Tempest), Hyungseok (Younite), Eunhwi (TNX), Haemin (8Turn), Wonbin (TCO) -> They had to do physical activities which was really funny because only Oneus sent someone athletic and the rest just sent their tallest members or members with good proportions. Visual ace Xion (Oneus), Jungmo (Cravity), Eunchan (Tempest), Woono (Younite), Kyungjun (former,, TNX), Kyungmin (8Turn), Seunghwan (TCO) -> Um so they got a woman who specializes in reading faces to read their fortune + measured their face proportions to see who has the ideal ratio??? Idk man Aside from this, they've also been releasing groups' reaction vids to their performances from RTK2, including the evaluation stage.

They said if he was less drenched (and looked better) then he could've gotten 1st place lmao. Minhee said his spot was basically a waterfall, that he pretty much took a shower during the stage, that he couldn't see in front of him, and also that he looked like a puppy that fell into water. Taeyoung and Woobin said it was even more funny because Minhee was the last one shown and everyone else looked slightly wet and handsome and sexy and then suddenly Minhee's there looking like a wet puppy. They also gathered around to watch Minhee's fancam to find the exact timestamp of where it all went wrong and they were all saying he looked so cute. To clarify as well and I hope this isn't too much of a spoiler but Cravity at least isn't in any danger of being eliminated since the teams up for elimination are 6th for the overall team, ace ranking from Rounds 1-3 and they've been scoring well enough that there's no way for them to be 6th in either. We also… know they're making it to finale because their dance team posted on instagram that they're preparing for it lmao.

2024-10-27 06:14:26 +0000 UTCI was gonna say I really wish mnet would release the demo version of both stages since 🤔 like you said, I don't think the camerawork for the demo version is the same as the one for the final or else some of the aces' words and choices would be really weird. They were saying the Water stage looked very "Hwanwoong and friends" but I really did not get that impression at all because they would switch the camera to other members during some of his parts. In comparison, I feel like the camerawork for Fire really did focus more on Part 2 (Taeyoung) and Part 3 (Myungho). So I really wonder what gave the aces the impression that Fire was more evenly distributed. Especially since Leedo got so little camera time even during his parts and the only reason I noticed him is because I already know Oneus. Also I really, really think fandom played a bigger part in this more than other challenges. I think Cravity sending out Minhee and Taeyoung was a really smart choice. In Minhee's case, he's not their best dancer by any means but I'm sure most of the fans know who he is because of how big Produce X 101 was in Korea (especially the fallout). Because they already know him beforehand, they'll be more likely to remember his "moments" in the performance. His fancam is currently at the highest views as well. As for Taeyoung, he's not as well known but he is definitely a big all-rounder and has great stage presence and charisma, like you noticed in your analysis. (Fun fact, kluvitys and iluvitys both agree that Taeyoung really comes to life during concerts and he becomes everyone's concert crush lmao). I think this is part of the reason why Younite scored so low as well, because they sent out new aces that fans of other groups hadn't heard of before. Possibly Leedo too. Because you mentioned Minhee getting a cold in your reply, it actually made me realize and feel really bad for Tempest's Hyuk. From what the live audience said, they filmed the unit stages the day before so it's pretty likely that Hyuk was still struggling with his pneumonia… and having to dance on water? But man, he really did not show it at all during Paradise or Jopping :( And yeah, it does look like the team stages were all one-take meanwhile the unit stages were also one-take with a cut in between. For water, it was cut before the water portion and for fire, it was cut in between Junseok's solo part and the song itself. It's actually really wild because the official full cam ver of the fire stage has Junseok's solo part cut out completely.
