2024-11-04 00:56:40 +0000 UTCso you mentioned the hand motion they do kind of looking like "ㄴ", but i wanted to let you know that the title is actually a play on words as well! the reason it's called nemonade instead of just lemonade is because "네모 (nemo)" is the korean word for square, which makes a lot of sense when you read the lyrics because the song is about breaking free of society's expectations and judgements (a box that they put you in). and lemonade comes into play as in "when life gives you lemons" and making the best of a bad situation, so it's like feeling free when you escape from that box and stop worrying. they actually say "if you can't avoid it just enjoy it" and i think it definitely comes through when they perform this song lol you can tell how much they enjoy this one
