2024-11-12 18:41:07 +0000 UTCYou are definitely correct in the clear vogue influence I think, I know Lachica and Kinky collaborated with Renan on this choreo, and in Lachica's YT shorts version they uploaded, their chorus included more clearer vogue elements like spinning etc!

I'm a big fan of how angular and sharp their pictures have become, especially with how the dancers are utilized because it suits their aesthetic as group so well imo. They really have come such a long way with their choreography. Giselle, who you pointed out as not being very readable compared to the dancer, in particular has one of if not the shortest training period of any SM female idol, so her refinement is easiest for most to clock over the years but they've all improved in different facets to me, especially after their first tour. A lot of their earlier choreographies are very tailored towards specific camerawork or implementing their lore as well so a lot of fans expressed some disappointment with how they read onstage so touring probably helped their team refine their vision for the group as well. I definitely hope that they continue to work with Renan though, they've worked with a lot of different choreographers(Next Level in particular has 7 credited lol), but Renan as a choreographer/movement director (they also used Lachica for the chorus, it seems) is really working for them. She also worked on Karina's solo "Up", if I'm not mistaken. Loved your take as well!
