The back story…Pre debut Jiung, Keeho, Theo, Intak and Soul went on a volunteer trip to Mongolia (Jongseob hadn’t joined FNC yet) where they helped a doctor who served the poor/orphaned. He told them that his friends back in Korea questioned why he would choose to do that kind of work when he could make a lot of money as a doctor in Korea and called him a fool for it. He said that living a life of altruism and service to others was more valuable…even if his friends called him a fool for it, he’d gladly choose to live as a fool. It made a lasting impression on the boys. The lyrics talk about how empty a life, lived solely for oneself, ends up and then they challenge the listener to make the choice which type of life they are going to live. Pretty impressive for a group of 16 - 19 y/o guys.
