That is probably because they are a hip hop group. I dont think ive ever seen a girl group that is strictly sticking to that kind of concept.

Yeah posse to 🐱 is a bit of a stretch compared to other things to me (low key way back in the day when I heard of Red Velvets debut track Happiness and WHEN they chose to separate the syllables made it 🌚 ) but when you stack things like the words and that I can definitely understand … happy that they haven’t been subjected to over sexualization over the years (or what I have seen thus far!

It started with the group’s name because some people were saying that Posse sounded too similar to 🐱. So they were upset. Then people were upset because one of the lyrics said something about dropping macaroni on their body. So people assumed that the company was trying to make it sexual. Which I can understand. However the lyrics were written by their leader/ oldest member Sunhye who also sang the line so 🤷🏾♀️.
