2025-03-18 01:05:56 +0000 UTCi'll miss this show and all of them a lot, it was truly amazing and they're all such talented artists... mnet ofc stayed true to themselves in the end, but it didn't make the show unbearable contrary to their other dance shows so i still enjoyed it a lot i think throughout the entire show my favorite dancer has been Yuchan, was really rooting for him til the end, he really made me realize how captivating ballet could be, and everytime he dances he manages to make me feel so many emotions, he's truly a breathtaking dancer (and i literally HAD to tell him that so i sent him a wall of text on instagram not thinking that he'd reply to my rant 😭) i watched some interviews and the fact that Hyojong introduces himself as a dancer who has a korean dance background but focuses more on contemporary now is SO COOL, i bet he had such a great time on the show surrounded by dancers from other genres... it seems like all of them learned a lot from each other and i think it's beautiful also learning only yesterday that Kim Jongcheol is actually the same age as me was kind of mindblowing, he's such an accomplished artist i unconsciously thought he was older than he is, i would've never guessed he was one of the show's maknaes dhjhds now i feel bad about what im doing with my life and even if Moogan wasn't there during the finals i'm glad he was still part of the tour and seemed to really enjoy himself there, can't wait to see his future projects because he was really impactful and unforgettable i'm also a bit sad that hyeseong didn't join the final lineup because he was one of my top picks, but everyone deserved a spot tbh and im just curious about his future activities of course i can't wait to see what the STF dance company with our 12 final members is preparing after all of this too !! thank you so much for your reactions Jess, i don't think anyone else could do what you do and i really love watching shows with you !

But still, It was an amazing show which showed and celebrated the beauty, the power and the diversity of dance. I was so thrilled and happy to get to know so many amazing dancers. I enjoyed every episode so much, I really will miss them. May they achieve all the success, praise and happiness they deserve!

So happy that this show exists because I was able to learn so much about Korean Dance that I wouldn't have if I didn't watch the show! Delighted to have you along for the ride as well!

2024-12-04 13:59:19 +0000 UTCI was shocked when we went from 8 Contemporary, 6 Ballet, 6 Korean Dance to 3C, 3B, 6KD! All korean dancers made it into the lineup. Jun Woo and Kyu Nyeon were definitely saved by the early announcement. Based on the point breakdown of the top 12 (excluding Kyu Nyeon), Jun Woo was last for the online voting points and 4th for the live voting. The top 3 was really predictable. At the end of the show, the popularity ranking was : Ho Jong > Big Wall > Kyeong Ho and Moo Gan > Wall > Hye Hyun. I'm happy for the ones who got it, but I would have liked a 4-4-4 or a 5-4-3 split. I was surprised when I learned that episode 9 was the last. For some reason, I was convinced that the finale would be episode 10. I don't know if I just misremembered things or if they decided to cut short the show since it didn't reach the popularity they expected. I'm sad that we'll never get fixed cams and individual cams for these performances, or at least versions without reaction cuts. All I found was someone's fancams for the Neuro Flux and 6P:M performances but they aren't the best quality. I would have liked to see everyone's choreography for the solo too, they clearly had the time to include those! For the tour the top 40 dancers will participate including Moo Gan but without Yoon Gu and Kyu Nyeon. I'll definitely go if they decide to go to Europe. And if they don't, I at least hope that they'll have a "Beyond Live" type thing so people who can't go all the way to Korea can still watch the show. Overall the show was fun to watch and I hope that they learn from their mistakes if they decide to have a second season. I'm still mad that we only got the full cams of the ballet initial auditions and that we barely saw the contemporary auditions for the dance film.

I really wish they learn from this and do better with the judging system on the next fighter shows, although I feel we wont get away from the Mnet manipulation at times. This was great!!

2024-11-30 04:39:43 +0000 UTCYes Mnet definitely wanted more Korean Dance rep in the final group, that is why they chose to show that Jun Woo and Kyu Nyeon were at 12 and 13th place in the middle to push their votes up. They do this all the time in their shows and it always has the intended result. Nevertheless, I am pleased with the final 12 and am grateful to see a decent amount of representation of all genres in it and the final 20. I do wish we got all 20 on tour tho. I think my favorite performances was Old Boy team A, close second comes Dash team. I am just so captivated by Hye Hyun and kind of obsessed with all the choreographers choosing to lift him every chance they get lol. This has been such a joy to watch and I am so happy to have found your reactions throughout my watch. You have truly made the viewing experience for me so much more insightful!! I also hope we get a 2nd season with women. I would love to see what that landscape looks like and what they'd choose to change to keep it fresh. I wasn't aware there was a 10th episode so I'm thinking it's probably a special episode. If that's the case, I do hope they provide subtitles for it unlike the previous special episode.
