CRAVITY ‘Secret beyond the Horizon : Now or Never’

CRAVITY ‘Secret beyond the Horizon : Now or Never’

Comments

Jungmo was able to join in the choreo for the pre-recording of Inkigayo today/yesterday (Dec. 16th) so it seems like the injury wasn't too severe. Unfortunately this is also the last music show for the year so their next performances of Now or Never will be in January but we still have their year-end festival performances to look forward to!

Also fun fact for the Now or Never MV, they filmed it for 5 days and 2 nights. They filmed 3 days and 2 nights straight + 2 extra days. This is just for the MV, not including the filming they did in Hong Kong.

I don't know how but I missed your reaction to the MV and just watched it today along with this, haha. Another long exposition comment incoming. Skip to the last paragraph re: dance practice. So the songs in this single album are: Now or Never, Secret, and Horizon. Hence the title of the video being "Secret beyond the Horizon: Now or Never." The first song here is Secret, then Now or Never, and lastly Horizon, like you guessed. Horizon is Woobin's song that he composed and wrote the lyrics for during RTK2 (not sure how he even had the time). Allen and Serim also wrote their own rap parts. Woobin said that the lyrics contain references to their RTK2 stages and their emotions while they were going through RTK2. Allen specifically outlined how each of his lyrics reflect Act I, Act II: Veni Vidi Vici, Sugar Rush Ride, and Overdose. Luvitys are very proud of our genius composer duo of Woobin and Allen. This video ties into their first teaser (https://youtu.be/cNISNlejZN4?si=iX72xPnw0mOAq-s0) and their highlight medley (https://youtu.be/yNjjMXs4qqU?si=wz8MAvROH-Em9Pex). All three videos have clips from when they filmed in Hong Kong when they had their fan con in between Round 3 (Overdose) and the final (Historia). Additionally, ever since Masterpiece (Groovy) era, Cravity's highlight medleys tend to be like mini-MVs so I recommend checking them out as well during future comebacks if you'd like. The highlight medley for this album was more stripped down though because of the time constraints. They usually film themselves in the recording booth for members' self-written songs but because they were recording for this album while preparing for RTK2, they didn't have the time :') For reference, Woobin's songs in order of release are Colorful, Light the Way, Vibration, and Horizon. Allen's is Over & Over, which you reacted to because they also had a special video for it. In terms of the dance practice, we're honestly not sure when they'll release it. Currently, Jungmo's actually injured and we don't know if they were able to film it before his injury. He said a heavy object fell on his foot, causing it to bleed. He expressed that he wanted to perform during their first week of promotions but was severely scolded by both the doctors and by Starship staff. He's still participating in performances but he stays seated. If the dance practice wasn't filmed before Jungmo's injury, they'll probably wait until his foot heals enough to film it. In that case, it might take a while for it to come out since they're already preparing for year-end festivals. Also, because it's the end of the year and they're only able to perform 4 times on music shows (as opposed to 20+ times), they'll likely extend their promotions through January. I think it's more likely that they pre-filmed the dance practice, though, because they also filmed this dance version for 1theK (https://youtu.be/sPAR2-vy-5M?si=dY47ijudYc8oZ-YC) before Jungmo's injury. In that case, I'd expect it to be released within the next week.
