HOW DO I DIRECT LIGHTING AND SOUND TECHS DURING A LOCAL DANCE PRODUCTION

CONTEXT: The show I'm directing is based on the C.S. Lewis novel "Narnia: the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe". It's similar in format to how "Nutcracker" is structured but with all things Narnia!

I’m so happy to have been able to do this and make this! It gets fun during scenes like this since most cues are for “environmental “ purposes vs heavily reliant upon where a dancer is to cue it

I always find performances (acting/singing/dancing) have this magical feeling to it, especially when performed on stage. The feeling of creating something like this must be quite rewarding, right?

2024-12-22 13:23:57 +0000 UTCIt was stressful in my earlier years, and Dress Rehearsal can be MAD STRESSFUL depending on so many logistics, but I was really proud of all the staff and performers for making my job easier to accomplish!! I will also say my body is ready to SLEEP after this haha
