The track itself wasn’t a gift to p1ece it was just a bside on their full album. But the special clip was the birthday gift to p1ece it came out way in April whereas the song came out in February. I think what the other comment said is true it was their first full album and they were in the midst of finishing a tour. They were most likely tired but there’s no way to know what really was going on😭 there usually really good at masking it live and in content so I’m actually curious as well

2024-12-31 21:59:14 +0000 UTCWell…I don’t know any specifics as to why this dance practice seemed a little off, but if I had to guess I’d say that they were exhausted. They were probably just coming off their year long world tour. All of the members got sick on the final European leg and several dates had to be rescheduled. So they flew back to Europe to make up those dates during the only free time they had in their schedule to prepare for the release of their first full album (10 tracks with over half of them having choreo). Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if the members (Intak in particular) choreographed this one…I don’t know for sure. But so many of the other tracks including the title track had more intricate choreography. The members loved this song, and fought for it to be included on the album. They also fought for it to be promoted and on the music shows and performed it at their comeback showcase. I agree with you…they could have replaced the second Congo line part with some sort of variation. Other than that, it’s a ton of fun in their live show. BTW…the special clip was released so that the ending with the “Happy Birthday” phone call with P1ece played at 12:01am on the fandom’s anniversary. 💕 https://youtu.be/0L6bNAUpUHY?si=3fizjJT50wmXhj_I
