Thank you guys for clarifying the word play! Love that you guys help a sista out so when we get a dance visual I can talk about that! This only means we need EVERYONE IN JEANS for their dance practice😂

And with difficulty in synchronicity, it mostly deals with what complexity/difficulty your movements are on top of how many people are doing it. I think getting the torso involved the way they did bumped the difficulty up from it just being fast and sharp if that helps answer your question!

Yes, I understand. It's just that I wish they put it in the video somewhere because it's a fun play on words and adds a lot of context to the jeans in the MV and the choreography. Or at the very least used 'cheongbaji' instead of CBZ if they were going with Prime Time as the English title anyway.

But it iss kind of sad that we can't really translate it to English because them giving everyone jeans in the MV kind of doesn't make sense unless you have the exact wordplay they used.

I don't think there's a way to translate the jeans to youth is now word play. Also in English youth is kind of associated to a certain age I think but this phrase in Korean is many to be more about living your best life than specifically being young. I think prime time is a great translation, the way it's related to tv but also like the prime time of your life, which doesn't have to be an age necessarily.
Things are always gonna get a little lost in translation because language has a lot of uses that aren't literal and depend on culture. I think this is a great translation because it gets the idea across even if it's not the literal translation.

It got lost in the translation because they chose to put 'CBZ' instead of the word that they keep repeating which is 'cheongbaji (청바지)' (also the Korean title of the track). It's the short-form for the phrase '청춘은 바로 지금 (cheongchun-eun balo jigeum)' which means 'Youth is right now'. Aside from that, the word cheongbaji (청바지)' directly translates to 'jeans'. Hence the pulling up the pants references in the choreo and pretty much everyone in jeans in the MV.

Also is synchronicity difficult when the dance is very fast pace/line dancey with what looks like a lot of sharp movements?

So the woman at the start is Uhm Jung-hwa. She actually presented Seventeen their first Mama artist of the year Daesang in 2023 and her presentation of it was kinda iconic and they replicated it for this music video. The line “finally, it’s them” was from that presentation. Seventeen also performed her songs in the show Immortal Songs in 2017?2018? (I can’t quite remember but it was when they were still early in their careers).I think she’s also a long time Seventeen fan. Carats love her so much
