Did you think it was odd how we never got an explanation of how Goku contracted the heart virus? I used to thought Dr. Gero had something to do with it but he didn’t seem to acknowledge the existence of the virus at all. Some people also thought he might’ve gotten it on Yardrat but nobody knows for sure. It’s still one of the biggest mysteries in DB. One thing I also wanted to bring up last week is how Cell regenerated from the nucleus in his head being intact but when someone brought up how he regenerated after Goku blew up his whole top half, Toriyama actually admitted that he forgot he wrote that and that Goku should’ve killed Cell for good with that attack, technically creating a plot hole. In 2020 years later in the game, DBZ Kakarot, there’s a scene in the post-game sub-quest where you revive Cell, Goku asks Cell about his core and where it is. When Cell refuses, Goku points out that he heard that Cell told everyone else, and Cell responds with "You think I was telling the truth?" This suggests that he either lied where it was located or can move it around his body like you said. Since Toriyama himself worked closely with the game, it’s possible he was the one who contributed to finally fixing his plot hole.

I watched this for the first time as a kid (12 years old) so for me it felt like my little brother suddenly became my big brother but for the adults (my parents) watching with me it felt like their son grew up overnight.

2025-04-20 22:13:33 +0000 UTCthanks to no 16 's influence C18 & C17 turned out to be good in the timeline we know . C18 & C17 from trunks timeline were bad because they got 0 goal , and become too arrogant with their power , so no 16 's obssesion with killing only goku ground them
