Rest in Peace Skye ❤️

I cried a lot since Monday. It wasn’t easy to hear she had kidney cancer and that there was nothing they could do for her.

I spent every moment I could with her these last two and a half days. And I was so worried whether I would know when was the right time to put her to sleep, it didn’t seem like she was ready.

Until she was. She stopped drinking water and stayed on the cold floor. We made her appointment and had two final hours with her.

The last drive to the vet I’m relieved to say she was very relaxed. She fell asleep peacefully with my hands on her back and Hanco in her eyesight. We told her how much we love her and we thanked her for loving us and helping us grow up so much these last (almost) 8 years.

Thank you everyone for your love and support. It helped me to give a wonderful life to Skye. I’m not sure I’ll be ready for reactions by this weekend, but I do feel like I want to spend time with my friends.

I will be streaming more or less as usual, but I’ll take it day by day. I don’t want to force myself through reactions with half of my mind elsewhere.

Four years and 11 months ago I also made a post here saying goodbye to my first cat, Tasuki. I still love miss him. Many of you have been here through thick and thin ❤️ I can’t say how much I appreciate that.
