I Wasn't Supposed To SHRINK 009

Both the doll-sized women, at least to Katie, stood up, first the one that was giving commands and then her companion, who was much smaller. "Ok, we need to act fast." the commanding girl stated. Katie, feeling the urgency, started to standup as well. The one giving orders didn't even come up to her hips, and the other was knee height. "I guess I better be thankful..." she thought to herself.

"Ok, we know..." the girl began speaking up to Katie but was cut off as the world shook a bit around them. "What's happening???" Katie yelled out. "Walking." the more experienced girl replied. "Brace yourselves!"

Being quite a bit larger, Katie was able to put her arms to the side and sway back and forth as their world shifted around them, like a plane hitting a ton of turbulence. The taller of the doll-sized girls leaned against the side of the purse, spreading her arms out, riding out each vibration. "Watch out!" the commanding girl let out as Katie felt something heavy hit her hip. It was the massive cellphone that was next to them. Due to her size, her rear was preventing it from toppling on top of her and her 2 tiny companions.

She shifted a bit to hold the phone in place on her rear. "I got it, I can hold it for now." Katie said down to them. Meanwhile, the smallest of the three yipped at all the commotion and grabbed onto the closest thing she could: Katie's leg. She wrapped her arms around it and clutched tight, screaming a bit. Katie looked down but didn't say anything.

Once everything became a bit more consistent, the bag shaking in a rhythm and all 3 of them somewhat stable, the commanding girl resumed.

"We know a lot, but we don't know what's going on outside this purse besides conversations we've heard. Are you tall enough to see outside and open the purse?" she yelled up loudly to Katie. Katie looked around, and she saw the purse wasn't latched. On top of that, if she pushed herself up on her tiptoes, she could just see outside the purse. "Barely, but yes." she responded down to them.

"Good. So, I'm sure you already know where we are, but what is she doing right now?" the girl yelled back up. "I think she's walking towards the... bar. It's a local club, for a happy hour at the company I'm working at. She's a co-worker, and I think she did this to me on purpose..." Katie replied.

"Ok" the girl responded, "Is there anyone else? Does it look like anyone is watching her? Anyone in suits? Out of place?" she said. Katie, not expecting to hear that question, began looking around as Tessa slowly made her way to the bar. "No... Everyone looks to just be drinking or dancing... but it's dark and those bright lights aren't helping."

"Ok, is there any way you could open the purse? Get someone’s attention? Maybe when she gets to the bar? Could you climb out and jump onto the bar top and get someone's attention?" the girl said, firing one request after the next without giving Katie a chance to respond until she was done.

Katie looked down at her. "Do you know how high up we are?!? Well, for us I mean... And jumping onto the counter? What are you even talking about? I'm not athletic like that, I'd probably miss the countertop and fall to my death onto the floor!" Katie said, realizing how odd that sounded to say.

"But you have size over us, you HAVE to do something, we NEED to get help and out of this situation NOW!!!" the girl said in a demanding, but squeaky, voice back up to Katie.

"Can't we just..." Katie started to say, but then she started to experience a weird sinking feeling and tingling in her mid-section...
