I like both the animated and the live action show but the live action movie is horrendous

As a fan traumatized by the original live action movie, I just couldn't bring myself to watch the Netflix one. I heard it was decent, but that certain character arcs had been simplified (like Sokka, as an example). So, I'll just say that I ALSO look forward to your blind reaction to the next 2 seasons. It's an incredible journey.
