Guide to Patron Pics

One part of my Patreon rewards that frequently warrants some further explanation is my Patron Pics, so this post will serve as a guide to how those work

What is a Patron Pic?

A Patron Pic is a reward image for certain patrons that features their own OCs or characters of their choice. These images are publicly posted and are free to be shared anywhere and to non-patrons.

Who is eligible?

Eligible patrons are members of the $5 tier and have stuck around for a while. Patrons are also eligible for repeat pics if I run out of eligible new patrons and I need to "wrap around" to the older patrons again. Patrons are picked roughly in order of support time, longer-supporting individuals receiving precedence. 

How do these work?

If you are an eligible patron and are selected for the next patron pic, I will personally attempt to get in contact with you through direct means. This includes connected discords, other social medias I may know you on, or through Patreon's on DMs. Being a member of the discord helps as it is more reliable as a communication method than Patreon's DMs. You MUST reply to my messages to redeem your rewards, otherwise I will move on to a new patron.  After making contact, I will ask for any characters and ideas you may want to use for a pic. If you do not have any OCs of your own, or you do not wish to use them, you may ask for other media characters or request the use of one of my own characters. Then, I will work on the piece and periodically send updates and ask questions to be sure I'm on the right track. When finished, these pieces are then posted to my galleries, usually with credit to the patron, but you may decide to remain anonymous if you wish. Patrons are allowed to post their Patron Pics to their own galleries if desired.

Upgrades?

The base Patron Pic is a single character shaded sketch piece. However, for those who are interested in adding more to it, there are upgrade options. Patrons can request additional characters, a background, and different finish levels, in which case there is an added cost to the picture. Please note that Patron Pics are NOT eligible to be upgraded into sequences or comics! In these scenarios, the additional cost would be the difference between the prices of the prompt as if it were being commissioned, and the price of a typical shaded sketch commission. As an example, if the requested piece would cost $75 as a commission, and my current pricing for a shaded sketch is $50, then the patron pic would cost $25. Patrons opting into upgrades are charged after a sketch of the overall piece has been approved.
