We took these pictures in 2021, testing the lights for the real photo shoot (that Santa costume is like an oven!), and I always found these expressions more real. They may be a little sad, but Christmas is a time when I miss a lot of friends, and I think about them all the time. So that's what made me write 'It's Christmas Eve'. We were in the middle of the pandemic in 2020, and a good friend told me that I should write a Christmas song to cheer up the bear community. I said, "But I don't really like Christmas," and he said, "That's why you should do it, make a song for those who find this time of year difficult". And well, here it is.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know that feeling. I don't know why all those things always pile up this month, I remember talking with older friends about it when I was twenty something. They told me it was a sad time for them and I didn't get it. But now I do. That's why I try to entertain and make not easier for those around me. β€οΈβ€οΈ

I attended the funeral of a very dear and close friend, so I know what you mean about people expecting you to be happy, I just want to scream at the world. Sometimes I wish I could go to sleep on December 1st and wake up on January 1st and just sleep through Christmas.
