First Draft is DONE and it's a DOOZY

So, I finished the first draft of the Braden script, and it weighs in at 7567 words. Which is about twice the length of my usual scripts. It's a total of 7 scenes, and picks right up after that fateful night with Braden in the bathroom.

I have a feeling you are all gonna love it and boy howdy is the ending something...

So here's the plan. Tomorrow (Wednesday) I edit the script and record the first half. Thursday I record the second half, Friday I edit, and Saturday I score, polish and post. I can realistically accomplish all of that in two days, but I'm giving myself until the 30th. I have also completely cleared my scheduled of everything except work, and choir practice tomorrow night, so that's literally all I will be doing.

7500 words is actually insane. I usually get about 1000-1200 words per 10 finished minutes of audio (if it's a speaker only). But given Braden is in the audio book style, I think I cram a few more words, about 1500, per 10 minutes of finished audio. That still means I estimate about 50 minutes of finished audio, so gonna be a doozy.

I'm so excited about this story. Braden is pretty different from the rest of my characters, he has more of an edge and more skeletons than the rest. I'm excited to hear what you think and if you want this story to continue!

Okay, I need to wind down a little before bed. Writing this got me a little hot and bothered... ;)
