Added 2023-11-29 13:49:02 +0000 UTCHi guys! I'm working on a new animation (first image), I expect to finish it by Friday evening, at least I'll try). This will be my first animation made in Timeline. Yes, I decided not to use VNGE anymore, since for some it caused performance problems (FPS drops and freezes for a split second), which I myself have repeatedly encountered. In theory, there should be no such problems with the Timeline. Also, the Timeline has some features that I lacked in VNGE, and it’s just more convenient for me to work in the Timeline. To be honest, I have long wanted to switch to a Timeline, but I was so used to working in VNGE that I wanted to change nothing. But I will still continue to use some of the features of VNGE, such as adding my own audio tracks.
Also, I decided to rework my first animations because I don't like how they look. I've already reworked the first two scenes, so if you want, you can download them again (scenes 1.1 and 1.2). In total, I changed the lighting, changed the colors, effects, and added simple facial animation. I also changed the character to an updated version (changed the proportions of the body, the type of facial structure, the position of the eyes, the type of pupils and their color, and many other minor improvements). I didn’t change the animation itself, it remained the same, and I don’t have time to redo it either. I also did a general optimization of the scene, removing unnecessary light sources, unnecessary objects, and so on. As an example, you can look at the last two images. This is from scene 1.1, before and after.
