It's a sour spot for me too, and resentment can easily germinate from interactions with people on a certain platform... I know it all too well... And then I think... I do think it was wise to keep this space somewhat on a low profile, purely because only those seeking that sort of thing would've come here eventually anyways, but also because there just isn't any reasoning with people who don't like it in most areas of discussion. Not a lot of grace is given to us... But, I think you're a great person already. Of course I don't know you very well, but I've followed your work for almost 20 years now... I feel like I at least somewhat get the picture...

2025-09-11 06:22:27 +0000 UTCI relate to that a lot. I'm also an artist as well, and there are a lot of finer aspects to your drawings I've been thinking about in recent years. A consistent subject is when ones draftsmanship or quality rusts when relying on 3D, and I had a similar process of working through that as well. Even as far back as 2021, I can distinctly recall the ways you block in a drawing, the most interesting part was where you'd place the center line; An example in the most reason drawing you posted is placing the center line of the initial box or sphere between the eyes, and extruding the features and jaw afterwards. The cranium is usually more consistent if thought of as a form to build off of first, and drawing through is made easier. It sounds a bit laborious when said aloud, but having gone through the same line of cogitation on my own from a while ago it made me feel a kind of kinship, even though that sounds strange. I was a huge fan even before I began drawing for real though!

Although it kind of made me curious about the full extent of these H works. It's your art, so I didn't wanna seem ungrateful, but my first impression when seeing it was... "it's like that!"
