As a cosplayer I often struggle between wanting to cosplay something that inspires me, versus cosplaying something popular and well known. Whatโs more important, wether a character suits me or wether a character is well known?
I want to do both in the coming year๐

Nice to see you may be doing Nefaria in the future. Dragalia Lost has lots of characters with unique designs and clothing, but so little cosplay of it.

2019-12-23 01:18:30 +0000 UTCGo for the characters that you enjoy the most. Going for the norm is nice & all, but if a cosplayer doesn't necessarily enjoy said character, then it wouldn't do for a genuine experience (if that makes any sense).

Cosplayers shine brightest when they enjoy the character they're cosplaying versus doing it because its popular. Both can be good, mind you.
