Howl of The Pegasus Chapter 2 Part 1

Sylvain hummed to himself as he walked into the door of one of his oldest friends, Ingrid. There was an matter that he needed to discuss with his friend, but as he attempted to knock her door, with the slightest contact the door opened a bit.

"It's open? Ingrid?" The red-haired student entered the room and look around just to find nobody.

"How rare, she usually doesn't forget to lock doors before going anywhere." Sylvain chuckled and at first he was leaving the room until he saw a book with a particular cover.

He didn't had a lot of time to read the cover when another voice was heard, "I should have saw it coming, I knew that you were the kind of guy to barge into another girl's room"

Sylvain stopped on his tracks and looked directly to Lysithea, who had her hands on her hips in a accusing fashion.

"W-wait it's not what it looks like" He quickly laughed, "The door was open... and I wanted to return this to her!" Sylvain added almost perfectly as he showed the shorter girl the book.

Lysithea glanced at the book once 'Wolves? Hm...'

"Is that so?" Her frown didn't disappeared, "Well, you have done enough, hand me the book. I will personally give it back"

At first the boy wanted to say something smart but as soon as he saw the woman's hand on her bag and the inside glowed purple, Sylvain figured that she wasn't playing.

"Sure, go for it" He smiled, although he felt awkward to walk to Lysithea and gave her the book before walking past her out of the room. All the while she looked at him like an eagle.

'Jeez! I gotta be more careful, she can be quite scary if I push the wrong buttons' Sylvain as he waved at his colleague.

Once he was out of the dormitory Lysithea scoffed, "Now..." the white-haired girl looked at the book in her hands, "What is this about?"

She couldn't have predicted that her curiosity would make her stand there reading for as long as she did, at some point the petite girl started walking to her room, something about the contents of the book interested her and Lysithea didn't liked leaving interesting rocks unturned.

---

Ingrid looked at the scene that was taking place in the training grounds with visible amusement, Caspar and Petra were sparring but without using any weapons.

And surprisingly to some, Petra was the one getting the upperhand. Caspar wasn't a pushover either, his strenght allowed him to keep up with the naturally strong girl.

At some point she recalled one of her biggest worries, her book about werewolves was lost and she couldn't find it anywhere.

Yesterday, Ingrid came back to her room and she found the door unlocked, fear was evident on her face and soon finds out that her book was missing.

She did her best to find it, even timidly asked the others if they have seen it but to no avail.

After the match up, classes were officially over for today. Byleth said a few words before walking out of the training grounds with Hubert.

Ingrid decided to speak with Dimitri who was chatting with his best friend Dedue, that is until...

"Ingrid?" The blonde looked at Lysithea who just walked past the doors, "Lysithea, hey" Ingrid smiled at her before approaching to the white-haired mage.

"Can we talk? Preferably somewhere private?" Lysithea requested, going straight to the point.

"Sure..." her friend complied.

---

The two women decided to talk in Lysithea's room, inside of it Ingrid took a sit on one of the wooden chairs as Lysithea took out something out of her bookshelf.

Ingrid slightly gasped when she saw the same book that brought back her most shameful and dirty fetish, 'History of Werewolves'. A book that shouldn't be in her friend's possession.

Before Ingrid could say anything, Lysithea added "I found this in your room after I had... an understanding with someone".

The white-haired girl opened the book, she swiftly found the page that she had bookmarked. The page in question was the beginning of the 'transformation' aspect of werewolves.

The blonde closed her eyes in shame, she expected Lysithea to call her out as a pervert.

"I see that you have been investigating about the black beasts, like the one we encountered in the Tower of Black Winds"

"Eh?"

"While it is good start, I don't think is the best. I mean what is the connection between people turning into wolves and people being consumed by relics and transforming them into beasts? It could be a good assumption but I think it's a long shot but... are you listening?" Lysithea stopped herself when she noticed Ingrid staring at her blankly.

The blonde blinked twice, "Y-yeah sorry"

"Is something wrong? I can tell by your flustered face..." The smaller girl almost muttered referring to the pegasus rider's cheeks that was red enough for everyone to see.

'Guh... should I tell her? I don't want her to get the wrong idea...'

Lysithea waited for an answer as Ingrid looked back.

"Well you see..." She began, Ingrid's thumbs twiddling, "I have a thing for... werewolves."

The room was filled with silence, with the blown cover Ingrid expected once again the teasing or the comments but when she glanced at Lysithea, the petite woman looked like she was having a hard time understanding and the implications of that statement.

"Hmm... I see" Lysithea walked to Ingrid and handed the book, "Well, you may as well take it"

Ingrid looked at the book before slowly taking it away from her white hands, after that she couldn't help but wonder "You are not going to critize me?"

"Huh? Of course not, you do whatever you wish to do" The student nods, "Although I didn't knew you liked something as hairy as a werewolf, I thought you would like someone like Ashe"

"A-ashe?" Ingrid's cheeks turned red again much to the amusement of her short friend. "N-no it's not about wanting a lover like that! I want to be the..." The blonde stopped herself, this time Lysithea lifted and eyebrow, "You want to be a werewolf?"

'Crap, I blurted all of that without thinking!' Ingrid mentally cursed.

"Hm..." The curious girl went pensative, "Now that is unusual, I thought you wanted to be a knight"

"Of course!" Her friend quickly intercepted, "It's just that... I wish to feel what they feel when they transform, to let their anxieties go away for a night. Despite the potentials pain of a transformation, in exchange they are offered to run in the cool but warm forest, letting their instincts to take over..."

Lysithea heard her friend's reasoning with a slightly suprised look, 'She sure looks passionate about it, werewolves huh. Maybe I could use this moment to try something'

"Lysithea?" Ingrid named.

"Would you like me to find a way to transform you into a wolf?" Lysithea asked, and that was enough to delight the knight for a brief moment.

"What?!" Ingrid gasped, "Y-you could?"

Lysithea tilted her head, "There could be a way, I can start by looking for anything. Maybe a spell"

Ingrid nodded slowly, "I see"

"Good, if you excuse me..." The blonde complied and left the room, she could feel her heart pumping in excitement.

She had always teach herself about not letting her hopes up for anything, be calm and stoic, but it was hard for her to supress her joy.

---

Lysithea hummed as she sat in her desk, with a large book lying in the surface.

Her room was messy, many books and notes were dropped all over the floor, caused by the curious mind of hers who worked hard on her research.

"Huh, who would have thought" Lysithea let a smirk form in her face.

What she found in the giant book were spells recorded by their ancestors, and among them there was spell called 'Shape-shifting' a high level spell.

"This spell turns their target into any animal that the user wishes" The petite girl read out loud, it may not turn into werewolves but she believe this would do.

"Unless... I can use this as a base..." She thought to herself, thinking that maybe she could modify the spell.

It could be worth a shot, maybe experimentation will be in order but that was the whole point of doing this favor, to expand her knowledge even further. And also, Lysithea respected Ingrid so it was a win-win situation.

With her goals set in mind, Lysithea proceeded to do, perhaps, her biggest project she has ever done in a long time
