First Article Up & News!

Hey y'all, I posted the first of my monthly articles! It's the post immediately prior to this one. :> Let me know what y'all think! It's been a hot minute since I've written to any extent, (aka, college,) so while I'm not super worried about grammar and flow, I'm all ears if my thoughts seemed a bit jumbled and mainly the clarity of the message!

Also let me know if there's anything in particular, topic-wise, y'all would like me to share my thoughts/experience on! I already had a request for fursuiting, so I figure that'll be more of a 'series' as I cover different aspects of that, as there's quite a bit!

Anyway, for some life updates! Commission work has been a bit slow - lots of sketches are getting done and prepared in PS so I can work them digitally from here on out, but I haven't gotten large chunks of time due to being busy at work. This week alone...I had a good friend in crisis, we have a massive aircrew inspection including exams and mission planning for intense 'WWIII' flights, flight gear inspections, change of command functions and dinners, squadron furniture inventory, and weigh-ins and our periodic physical fitness exams...DID I FORGET ANYTHING????

Luckily, though, it'll all be over next week. Well, the inspection and fitness exams will be, at least.

From there on out, it'll be hitting the ground running with art and art and art! I'm very excited, this is a big queue! This will keep me busy at least until AC, which is the goal! Then I may have just a couple more openings late this summer to be sure I can complete them before I deploy again.

Last deployment, I took zero commissions, (exception being a ref for a fellow Navy fur and friend, and an icon I promised someone a while ago, but these were set in stone before I left the US,) and it was wonderful. I did soooo much personal artwork! That being said, I didn't take commissions because it was a stressful deployment enough without worrying about commissions! But since I know the general flow of the op-tempo and it won't be such a surprise, I'm planning on opening up a couple times while I'm overseas! This is all very much a looking-out for now and may change, but that's just what I've planned for right now!

I'd write more, but it's time to gear up and head into work for a flight! From which I get to land, do a three hour debrief with our wing regarding their support (or lack thereof?) and defend my tactics...then go to a Wardroom-hosted dinner in dress uniforms, blah! I just wanna nap, haha.

Stay awesome! <3
