I have good news, mixed but good news, and some really good news.
The good news is that audio for Book 2: Aster Fall, will be available this June! It's coming soon!
The mixed news, which I hope you'll understand, is that Travis Baldree suggested a new narrator to replace him, since he felt bad that it was taking a while to get the books out. Book 2 was scheduled for this fall and Books 3-6 were slated for early 2025.
He handpicked two great narrators to do the story justice: John Pirhalla and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker. John is a 2023 Audie Award Finalist for Best Male Narrator of the Year and 3x Finalist for Independent Audiobook Awards (Thriller, Fantasy & Paranormal). Stephanie is a 2023 Audie Award Finalist for Best Female Narrator of the Year.
Book 1 will be rereleased by them as well, for continuity.
The really good news is that the pace of audio release for the books will be every two months, which is incredibly fast. Book 1 and Book 2 will be out this June. Book 3 will be out in August, Book 4 in October, and Book 5 in December. After that, we'll keep going with new releases.
I hope everyone understands the switch here, since it was the best option for everyone. You'll get the books much sooner and by a pair of amazing and talented narrators, Travis is less overworked, and I'm happy to announce more books are coming!
Audio codes will be announced here as soon as they're available.
I've attached a quick 10-min sample of John reading a few scenes: there's a bit here from Ch 1, from Krana/Ayala, and from the two demons in the Void.
Stephanie will be doing the announcements and Asenya's voice, and possibly the other female voices as well, but she's not in this sample yet. You can check out her work on Audible.

It was really supposed to be out in January, but Zach keeps having life get in his way. He told me again that it will be done in a couple of weeks. Hopefully that is true.

It’s been so long since BR that I don’t think I will remember the voices enough to even notice the change. I’m just glad Aster Fall is finally being released. You didn’t mention when the next RoF audio book will be released. Do you at least have an approximate release window for Sunset Knight?
