Update

So, I've finished all the renders for Naomi's Beach Date. All 44 of them -_-.  Normally, I'd keep working on renders for a few more days to hash out a minor scene or two to add in to the game. However, the simple truth is that the way I'm planing to structure the date is much more complicated, code wise, than anything I've attempted in Ren'py before. It's still not exactly rocket science, I do have a degree in programming (which is useless to me most of the time) and this is still pretty simple overall stuff. However, the annoying way Ren'py handles code makes me unsure how long it will take me to work everything out and test the results. As such, I'm going to switch over to working on the code early. If I finish fast, I'll go back and make more renders for another minor scene. But if not, then I'll at least have the major thrust of this update finished.

For those of you curious, the structure of this date will be a case of 'make the right choices to get the best ending, or to have Naomi do more extreme things.' While having a high relationship with her will help (it will be impossible to get the 'best' ending without a pretty good relationship), you'll still need to make the right choices to get Naomi to be more adventurous. There are several sets of things to build 'date points' with in the first half of the date (with a starting bonus to those points for an initial high relationship with her), then you'll get one of 4 possible endings when the date moves into the second phase at the beach house. Well, 4 results if you count the date just ending without going to the beach house, 3 sets of renders for different quality-of-date endings.

I'm...not sure I'm explaining that well. To be honest. hopefully you get the general idea. In example, the image for this post is if you convince Naomi to walk nude across the beach and ask a couple what it would take for her to get a beer for herself and Faith... Obviously, you'll need a much higher score to get her to agree to that, then you would to simply get a kiss ;-). 

Anyway, on to other stuff...

Jaylee has the rough draft of the next short, so I'll read that this weekend so she can make any edits or revisions based on feedback. It should be out Monday or Tuesday, probably. I'm sure you've all realized that, aside from always managing to get a short out every month, the 'when' tends to be much more erratic than the other updates.

I've got a loose idea how I'm going to alter the Patreon, I should have the plan up in a public post sometime with in the next 3-4 days. I just have to get all overall form of it from the places it's tumbling around in my head, down onto actual paper...or post.
