Timeline for Christmas/New Years Rewards

Some of you might remember that I said I was doubling up on rewards this month. Jaylee is writing an Eros-related (or at least her Eros Academy characters related) Christmas short. She's pretty much got that done and says I'll have it for editing tomorrow. The goal, obviously, is the have that one up by Christmas. For reference, it will be a for-all-patrons reward this time. 

The Mixed Media short that I myself am making is actually going to be a New Years thing, rather than Christmas, purely to give me the time needed to do the renders. Holiday schedules make it harder for me to make them quickly, hence targeting it at New Years to give myself the most possible time. For reference, that reward will be the $5+ exclusive for this month. I debated making it available to all patrons as well(given that it then won't go into the general archive until February, which is rather far after New Years), but ultimately felt that it wouldn't be fair to all my amazing $5+ patrons not get an exclusive for the month. 

On another note:

Leaving the rewards thing, I'm currently spending a fair bit of what spare time I have doing research into the new game ideas. At the moment, that involves reading more deeply into Python, Ren'py, and a couple of alternative game engines, in an attempt to see which games would require what from me. This research may eliminate some of the options entirely (I doubt that, but it's possible) and will almost certainly effect the overall scope and size of each game, as well as what is possible in form of gameplay elements. 

My goal is the have that research done by the end of the month, so that I can present more formal versions of the game ideas I've previously show off to you patrons, in order to get feedback on which ones most interest you. That will include a poll that will take the place of the usual monthly poll (since content for the next update has already been determined). But I will warn you up front that said poll will only influence which game I choose. While the poll of current-patrons will likely be the greatest single influencer on my final decision, I also intend to open up public discussion here, and possibly on the forums I've posted on in the past as well. The goal of this, after all, is to move to a game that will be better-received by the adult games community, while also being a game that I can produce without half-exhausting myself in the process.
