Back to the Art!
Added 2018-10-11 05:43:02 +0000 UTCWhew. Were finally back to some Cosplay Cafe art! I've actually spent about five days on this piece. Which is, of course, not normal. One full day was actually me trying to duplicate the line settings I used on all the other art. In the end, that failed. The results of me still being an amateur were that I didn't think to save or record the tablet or software settings before I wiped my OS and started over...and I also never had enough understanding of those settings to begin with to duplicate them. As a result, the lines are now somewhat different from the way I used to do them, a bit thicker and darker overall, I think.
Aside from that...and a good twelve hours I spent at one point freaking out and trying to fix my Graphics Card (more on that another time, once I know more about how bad or not bad things are)...the reason this piece took so much longer than usual is that I was attempting to upgrade the quality, since I got so much flak from the general public over the art I was using before. This piece has a great deal more in the way of lighting/shading, plus some different styling of the face (less simplistic). Please let me know if you like the new way I did this. Assuming people don't hate it, I will likely keep using this method. Once I do it a couple of times, I can hopefully get my speed back down to where I was (which means about 2 days per piece).
