2018-11-29 19:36:43 +0000 UTCI am going to make a very very strange suggestion that probably no one has made before and no one will agree with, but: Watch episodes 27 and 28 in reverse order. Why? Basically, 27 is a glorified recap episode worth watching only because it has a neat framing device full of foreshadowing / buildup for one particular part of the main plot. But, it didn't exist in the manga, and it kinda gives away too much about one particular reveal right before it comes in 28. If you were to skip to 28, you get said reveal as it was originally written and you don't lose any of the momentum from the current story arc, which basically climaxes in 28. Meanwhile, everything worthwhile about 27 is if anything only enhanced by going into it already knowing the reveal, because the longer-term foreshadowing and character implications will hold more weight with that context. I don't really expect this to be followed, but that is my strange advice of the day.
