UNEDITED EXCLUSIVE: Doctor Who Season 6 Minisodes REACTION!

Yeah but they're in the Christmas special and the Pond Life shorts take place in the year between that Christmas and the follwing September or October when S7 starts. Watching it before would not make narrative sense.

You kinda forget Amy’s parents since we only see them once for Amy’s wedding and then never again. Interesting minisodes. I never bothered to watch them until now. Probably should have been a whole episode, maybe as the prelude going into the finale... but then that wrecks the whole structure of the season. (Thinks). Get rid of the pirate episode, put this in it’s place.

Absolutely love Good Night, always like the smaller character moments like this. Really like Last Night too, the poignancy of it at the end. Great stuff.

"You showed up on my doorstep with a new haircut and a suit. You took me to Darillium, to see the singing towers." Funny how such a sad and important moment could show up in a little minisode, and love Smiths acting as he pieced together what his future self and River were doing and he's breaking inside. Also all the wibby wobbly situations just kinda condensed into these little stories is a fun way of giving us more info on how River and Doctors relationship kinda develops in such little time.

Minisodes are generally fun, throwaway things...with a couple of notable exceptions. You went into these with the right attitude. Just enjoy them for what they are. You're reacting to the TV Movie! There are very few reactions to that. You're a star :)

Failwhale, I think you brought up an important point. Somewhere along the line we realize there are adventures happening between episodes… like when the Doctor, Amy, and Rory went to Space Florida which we never got to see. In other words, the series itself is bigger on the inside. I like these little bite-sized morsels of Dr. Who. They’re like amuse-bouches. As a time-traveler, Amy has to get used to seeing time and events from multiple perspectives. And River flirting with the Doctor never gets old for me. My favorite bit: Doctor: “We’ve got ten minutes. Get dressed.” River: “Oh, that’s so close to the perfect sentence.”
