The Doctor being half human is not cannon, this is one that is just not true, remember, Timelords lie.

2019-04-22 18:25:42 +0000 UTCThe Big Finish Doctor Who audios with Paul McGann bridge the gap between this and New Who. They take the Eighth Doctor all the way up to the Time War.

2019-04-21 04:30:31 +0000 UTCThere's a mini prequel to the Christmas episode. It's not required watching, but it's a fun little addition.

2019-04-18 00:33:28 +0000 UTCThere's an amusing YouTube video that recasts American actors as the Doctors, worth a look. 🙂

2019-04-17 19:44:54 +0000 UTCThe Jelly Babies are a cute callback to the Fourth Doctor's favourite confectionery :) The reason that there was a gap between the movie and the TV series returning was because Fox retained the rights for a number of years - their plan was to do a TV movie a year for another six years:but when this movie failed to get a big enough audience, they shelved it. The BBC had no choice but to wait until the rights reverted back to them.

2019-04-17 09:17:20 +0000 UTCI know some comments in the first part explained this already but they didn’t say everything so yeah Time lords have 12 regenerations (13 different bodies/lives to live) until they die. Either that or they can get killed before regenerating completely then they’d die for good.
