2019-08-01 23:49:50 +0000 UTCBest episode of Season 7 so far by a considerable distance. Episodes 2-4 were dreadful, so it was nice they got one good episode to end on.

2019-07-15 01:06:37 +0000 UTCLoved this episode, although I cried buckets. An interesting tidbit. Matt did that last scene in one take. There were time restraints, which I hear happens a lot at the BBC. It happened in other episodes as well, like the scene in the Big Bang when he was sitting by Amelia’s bed. Such a great actor, love him!

2019-05-21 20:19:11 +0000 UTCI can't wait for the next episode - "The Snowmen" was the first Doctor Who Christmas special that I really enjoyed as an episode. Fantastic reaction. Well worth the renewal. Now I have to stick around until you're all caught up.

2019-05-17 14:55:58 +0000 UTCThat's just...Why? I understand being sad but locking all this other content away? Especially after 6 and a half seasons, suddenly dropping it due to a departure seems a waste of the commitment to me. My favorite era of the show hasn't even started yet.

2019-05-16 18:09:17 +0000 UTCThat was a great video, I cried, as always Audio still kinda low for the show, maybe it's just my TV?

2019-05-16 18:05:51 +0000 UTCIn case you didn't realise, what the Doctor says to River about breaking her wrist is EXACTLY what it said in the book; "why do you have to break mine?" "because Amy read it in a book so now I have no choice" *Doctor stops Amy from reading any further*
2019-05-16 11:52:10 +0000 UTCThis is definitely my favorite episode of this season so far and my second favorite of the Matt Smith era to this point. Great reaction as usual!! 😉

2019-05-16 10:19:38 +0000 UTCI think I stopped watching Who after this ep. Only watched future River eps. Amy was my fav companion. Both Karen and Arthur didn’t know they were being killed off in this ep. But I found solace in Big Finish the Diary of River Song audiobook series with her traveling with the other Doctors. So love it! River is my fav character and 11 my fav Doctor.

2019-05-16 04:51:56 +0000 UTCIf you watch carefully, while the doctor is distraught, river never takes her eye off of the angel so he can grieve safely

2019-05-16 02:05:57 +0000 UTCThe special is The Snowmen. Want to reiterate that because if you skim the above comment too fast you'll only catch the mention of Bells and not the fact that it's not the next episode.

2019-05-16 01:00:16 +0000 UTCI think this episode benefits from binging. When it aired everyone kinda knew they were leaving and that this was the end of Season 7A. When you watch without the fandom hype and press releases and the gap between 7A and 7B, it hits like a truck, especially since they've been around longer than any other New Who companion.
Sachal Ali
2019-05-16 00:59:06 +0000 UTCIt was a mutual problem- they kept coming back to him too. He gave them the chance to say goodbye for good in Power of Three and they couldn't do it either.

2019-05-16 00:57:18 +0000 UTC"We're doing the double bubble?!", that cracked me up haha. Excellent reaction dude!

2019-05-16 00:52:26 +0000 UTC"And whats the alternative if you continue to travel with me? Me standing over your grave? Over Rory's grave? I can't have that. Not to you two." - The Doctor in the God Complex when he leaves Rory and and Amy so they can start a life. But he couldn't resist, he came back, and he kept coming back. Even when they'd obviously started a life of their own, even when they'd obviously grown out of travelling with the Doctor and were winding down, he couldn't resist, he kept coming back. And he paid for it.

2019-05-15 22:39:57 +0000 UTCI've been refreshing patreon every hour for 2 days now because ive been so excited to see this episode :D BTW, I love your reactions, all the way in New Zealand
2019-05-15 21:33:00 +0000 UTCI've watched this episode a fair few times and it still gets to me every time. I still miss the Pond Era of Who. I like some of RTD's Who, but Moffat's time is when it really clicked for me.

2019-05-15 20:22:06 +0000 UTCJust make sure the next episode on your list is the xmas special "The Snowmen", not "The Bells of Saint John". Some places list 'Bells' as episode 6, but "The Snowmen" actually takes place next and is very important to the plot. Also, much less importantly (and I'm assuming this is fine to say since it's a Classic Who note about an episode you haven't seen), the next episode "The Snowmen" is actually highly tied into the plot of the 2nd Doctor Episode "The Abominable Snowmen", but the episode neither expects the viewer to make this connection nor do the protagonists - if however you want to appreciate the way it sits in the time-travel continuity you can read up on its "partner" episode and see how the events of one of the two is responsible for the events of the other.

2019-05-15 17:01:49 +0000 UTCGive it sometime for streaming to process. If it doesn’t work in a few hours or days ‘unable’ then there’s an issue. Downloads for both should work in the mean time for immediate viewing!

2019-05-15 16:55:17 +0000 UTCIn The Wedding of River Song, the Doctor admonished River for being sentimental. “You embarrass me,” he said, indignantly. This time, River is the one to accuse the Doctor of sentimentality in the exact same words. Another example of this couple taking turns repeating a catch-phrase. That was an emotional episode for me, as well. Two of my favorite lines: River: “When one's in love with an ageless god who insists on the face of a twelve year old, one does one's best to hide the damage.” Amy: “Tell her she'll give hope to the greatest painter who ever lived and save a whale in outer space.”

2019-05-15 16:17:21 +0000 UTCIt was not a shock or surprise that Amy & Rory would leave in this episode especially in The UK. We knew this was their final episode & i think the episode title too but it was a fitting send-off. S7 was split in two. You have just finished S7 A with this being a mid-series finale before S7 B which begins with a Xmas special before "The Bells Of Saint John" Hope you know about the special as it's vital going into the bells. P.S is a short that we all would highly recommend after this Angels finale, you'll soon see why + there is a lovely youtube bts vid recapping the end of Karen & Arthur's time & final days both reflecting on the Tardis team here - https://youtu.be/zU1UVES796A

2019-05-15 16:06:04 +0000 UTCI really liked what they did here, I think it caught a lot of people off guard as we usually change Dr’s or companions in the finale - they also had pretty much the longest run so far of all the main cast being the same, so was quite emotional when she recounted some of the adventures at the end - still love that Rory waited 2000 years for her 😢
