UNEDITED EXCLUSIVE: Doctor Who Season 7 Episode 13 REACTION!

This is one of my fave episodes.

I like this episode a lot, but I kinda wish they'd not done the cop out and had just killed Clara off... we'd had similar with Rose, Donna and Rory all killed off at various points and though I guess Rory and Amy were SORT OF killed off, I really thought a short sharp kill off of a companion 7 episodes into her time in the show, would have been an amazing twist.

It's understandable from his POV that he would draw that conclusion. I haven't heard the Bigfinish audios that delve into the Time War. It's possible some aspects of the Time War predates the Doctor's existence.

Again a great reaction to one of Moffatt's best stories. I really do love this and the next couple of episodes. I would even go as far as to say that the next episode is even better than this one! I loved how you almost managed to keep it together, right up to the end, but then the tears came. Saying goodbye to River always gets me too. I loved how into this episode you were. I recommend you watch the following episodes in this order: 'The Night of the Doctor', then 'The Day of the Doctor', then 'The Time of the Doctor'. It's pretty obvious to watch them in this order but this is just a heads up

hey, this is not a spoiler as it is already known, even if you missed it. so, the time war wasn't in the beginning of the doctor's story. originally, the doctor just stole a tardis and ran away from gallifrey. all the classic who (1st-7th doctors in the show and even the 8th doctor in the movie) are having adventures and THEN the time war happens - and then the show got renewed into new who and introduced the aspect of the time war. that is the main reason nine was so bitter the whole time (because he was the first regeneration since the war and had the fresh memory of it)

Hahaha. Made sure to watch this one on ordinary speakers not headphones. Good decision. I'm halfway through, just paused to post how much fun your reaction is.

I really like the way they handled "The Impossible Girl". I thought it was going to be something stupid like "she's actually a time lady who had her memory wiped" or something else like that, but nope! She was literally just the Doctor's companion at the time he went and visited his grave

Love this episode almost as much as your reaction too it

I honestly don't care much for this episode; the John Hurt reveal is fantastic, and the final scene with River is great, but the episode's whole premise is a bit weak, and it leans on a lot of the weakest bits of mythology that Moffat's built up. It just also...doesn't really end, just kind of stops in the middle of a scene. That being said, this episode leads into one of the best stories told in the revived series, and that's coming up next.

Not Magneto! Ollivander! 😉. And yes that was the first doctor in the beginning. The BBC really did their best making that archival footage look as good as possible. Overall I really love this episode. The one thing I despise is that “cave”, ugly design and not the best staging (The doctor screaming “over here” from 2 feet away), I can’t imagine that’s what they had in mind for the scene so I blame production problems and budget.
