I have seen this episode three times now and I don't think that it will ever not make me cry. like you said, seeing Armin being slowly burnt to a crisp is super impactful and totally gut wrenching. I really like how they play it off of the scenes where the rest of the group take on the armored titan and take him down because even with the wins in this episode, it doesn't reduce the pain from Armin's sacrifice.

2019-06-19 12:34:51 +0000 UTCI need a lie down in a dark room after that - it caught me on the back foot from the very beginning then just kept pushing The scene with the soldier contemplating his own death and being in a state of delirium was very impactful (so was the boulder)
