2020-10-22 15:04:26 +0000 UTCAnd to think Tennant's wife gave birth to #......ummm.....(damn, he has 5 kids give me a minute), the next week after the filming wrapped. And his hair was not as wild as it normally would have been because he had another project he was growing it out for. Have you ever read the book version that Moffatt wrote right after the filming was over? While in the dungeon, during the scene where Ten knew the # of kids who died on Gallifrey when Eleven didn't and he got angry about it? In the book he got a little bit more than just angry. He threw Eleven across the room and into the wall then marched off only to get angry again the more he thought about it and put him in a headlock, screaming at him about forgetting. Don't get me wrong, he is #3 in my list of favorite Doctors and I DO like him quite a bit but I can still see everyone who loved the Tenth Doctor punching the air saying "take THAT you bow tied bastard." I would have paid good money to have seen THAT on the screen ;-)
2020-01-24 01:35:09 +0000 UTC<3 appreciate you fam! Hope you've been enjoying the videos!

2019-11-20 06:12:06 +0000 UTCThis is why I subscribed! Couldn’t wait to see your reaction to my favorite episode. Amazing reaction!
2019-11-20 05:34:37 +0000 UTCIn the process of watching (and really enjoying) and have just got to the bit where you ask if there's a tie in with Queen Elizabeth I and ten- there a few, the first being in the Shakespeare Code where Queen Elizabeth orders his arrest but he doesn't know why yet. Amy also accidentally marries Henry VIII (Elizabeth's father) on her honeymoon, making her the Doctor's mother in law twice
2019-09-27 08:10:10 +0000 UTCjust double checked, 3/4 work for me. I deleted and reposted the link for the last 3 links, try it again and let me know if you have any issues Abe! Thanks.

2019-09-26 11:06:04 +0000 UTCThis is the reaction video I’ve been waiting to see since I first subscribed to your channel. Thank you so much, it was a joy to watch. Every reaction I was most looking forward to was there and en point. I particularly loved your reaction to Billie Piper. Wonderful!
2019-09-14 08:07:21 +0000 UTCHaven't watched this since seeing it in the cinema in 3D. I do still love it, but think I preferred it the first time round. The Zygon story just seems so weird amongst all the Gallifrey stuff. But the bit with Tom Baker as The Curator had identical effects for me both times I watched it - the bit where I seriously teared up... probably because it was the one true shock in casting. Baker plays it to perfection too. (I for one am super glad they went with War Doctor over Eccleston in the end. Hurt is brilliant in this. I absolutely love his portrayal and I love the fact he's so much older. It just works so well.)

2019-08-14 01:14:40 +0000 UTCWell the 6th Doctor just wasn't a particularly NICE Doctor generally.. Even the 1st Doctor and The War Doctor have moments of being nice, but I struggle to think of any from the bits I've seen of 6.
Mark Ward
2019-08-14 01:09:31 +0000 UTCStopped this after the first 1:40 to say, man you'd be the cutest Doctor - you have enough eccentricity and charisma to do it! You might want to work on the accent a little, or we could just have a Canadian Doctor maybe... :D

2019-08-13 23:36:09 +0000 UTCAwesome episode and great reaction.

2019-06-26 21:36:56 +0000 UTCIs the comedy anniversary special “The Five-ish Doctors” something you’re doing? It premiered online immediately after Day Of The Doctor and is definitely an official part of the celebration
Richard Perrett
2019-06-26 20:07:34 +0000 UTCFYI, Moffat had dinner with Eccleston with the hopes he could encourage him to return for the 50th Anniversary and the original plan was the feature the 3 Doctors. Unfortunately Eccleston respectfully declined but still okayed Moffat to use his likeness anyway he saw fit, hence why we got the War Doctor story instead, getting John Hurt was a huge deal considering it was plan B.

2019-06-26 19:57:38 +0000 UTCLiterally watched this for the 4th time now, I just can't stop enjoying this reaction video!!! Your intro line was hilarious as well "Ello." haha
2019-06-26 19:13:24 +0000 UTCThat was brill mate, you didn't dissapoint. Doctor Who firing on all cylinders. Loved the opening skit, your Australian accept is on point. :)

2019-06-26 18:44:40 +0000 UTCNight of the Doctor was originally designed to be the opening pre-title sequence for DOTD,but it was released separately when it was feared that the surprise was going to be spoiled (after a leak).

2019-06-26 09:18:37 +0000 UTCThat was awesome Doctor Whales! I apreciate the intro. And now we are going into the final countdown for the 11th Doctor. I enjoyed Day of The Doctor and wish they made room for Paul McGann's Doctor. Oh well there's always the future.

2019-06-26 03:12:53 +0000 UTCIn Sesska's reaction she almost switches the end credits off;but then she suddenly realises what they're doing

2019-06-25 23:41:14 +0000 UTCExcellent reaction as usual glad you enjoyed it ,didn’t you realise that was the new doctor when he said”all 13”?.......and another reactor doesn’t watch the cool end titles😬.watch it again you talked over some dialogue of interest.

2019-06-25 23:08:35 +0000 UTCThis was great, as always. There was so much in there - whether you watched the classic series or started fresh with the 2005 reboot, there were so many references to pick up. Such an achievement: for a show to get to 50 years and then to produce a story which adds even more back-story and takes it forward without stepping on the toes of what had gone before. Excellent. Your reaction was epic too - as expected!!!
Andrew W
2019-06-25 21:28:33 +0000 UTCLets all take a moment to thank Whomever edited the credits in the intro to keep Michael out of the loop. When I had watched it, I had seen trailers for the special showing that Tennant was in it. You had the best viewing experience for it my dude!!

2019-06-25 21:18:16 +0000 UTCI think he was referring to the leather jacket
2019-06-25 20:17:06 +0000 UTCI forgot to mention it but yeah that intro was cute
2019-06-25 20:15:28 +0000 UTCThere’s even some dialogue from Kate about there being precedence for this as she goes off to look for a file
2019-06-25 20:14:11 +0000 UTCComing! Just got The Expanse recorded so I’ll be getting that up. Will most likely have community 1 & 2 up for tmrw

2019-06-25 20:09:14 +0000 UTCOh, and it's not the same coat. War Doc's is single breasted and no rear belt. 🙂

2019-06-25 19:45:41 +0000 UTCWould very much recommend the novelisation of Day Of The Doctor. Steven Moffat expands on quite a few things and changes a few others. Very entertaining. Same goes for Rose by RTD actually. Both very good.

2019-06-25 19:44:06 +0000 UTCWhat happened with Community?
2019-06-25 19:35:13 +0000 UTCSo - really glad I opted for speakers instead of headphones again. hahahah. I knew this one would garner some yells.

2019-06-25 17:40:27 +0000 UTCman, i absolutely loved the intro haha! also, your reaction brought me such joy, and i cannot wait for the next episode!!!! i think my favourite part of the 50th anniversary was the epicness of "they're all here. all 12 of them" and the reply "no, sir. all 13!"
2019-06-25 17:16:14 +0000 UTCno problem!!

2019-06-25 15:58:12 +0000 UTCBeen waiting all day to watch this reaction. Did not disappoint. Proper Whovian response to the feels that this show brings to its passionate fan base. The next one always gets me everytime I watch it. Hope you enjoy it in the same way I do each time.

2019-06-25 15:45:47 +0000 UTCI have been waiting to watch this with you. It also means we are getting closer to other episodes I want you to see!!! The best part is I enjoy when you make the wrong predictions.

2019-06-25 15:12:09 +0000 UTCSecond link doesn't work :(
2019-06-25 15:09:52 +0000 UTCDid you notice the hexagonal design in the gallery? There was a theory that it was actually The Curator's TARDIS...
Mr K
2019-06-25 14:15:40 +0000 UTCHe's much nicer to himself these days than when he was the 6th Doctor and he had to rescue himself back when he was the 2nd Doctor.

2019-06-25 14:06:27 +0000 UTCOkay but that intro was everything tho
Lilly M.
2019-06-25 14:00:36 +0000 UTCCan you believe this aired in 94 countries all at the same time? Pretty amazing. I'm Australian so I remember getting up at around 4am to watch it and then I saw it again that day in the cinema. This episode is even better than I remember.
Emma
2019-06-25 13:24:54 +0000 UTCNice observation about Four appearing in an art gallery - never spotted the connection before now. The Doctor meeting himself is not unknown - it's happened several times in the past (and you saw one of those,in Time Crash). The Zygons are from a popular 4th Doctor story;which was also Tennant's favourite Who story (and it was he who suggested to Moffat to include them somehow). Kate's father is The Brigadier, who was of fundamental importance to much of the Classic era, especially Doctor #3. It was great that some of the names in the opening titles were blanked out for the version you saw - I was ready with the volume control for my headphones!
Ian Smith
2019-06-25 13:23:41 +0000 UTCLooking back, I'm glad you didn't do a classic multi-doctor story before this after all. You would've been anticipating one and wouldn't have gotten such a good reaction. Don't read too much into Matt Smith's cameo in Adventure, was more a symbolic "knowing the show will go on/paying tribute to the first" moment.
Mr K
2019-06-25 13:19:37 +0000 UTC*clearly not 11's Tardis* "Now we're in 11's". *Also clearly not the first Tardis* "that was the first"
2019-06-25 12:40:59 +0000 UTCAbsolutely amazing no matter how many times I see it. Great reaction, been looking forward to this and the next one. Here's to the 60th. 🙂

2019-06-25 11:10:39 +0000 UTCOne of the best episodes of Who imo. Sure, it has its ups and downs, but look past that and you have one hell of a time.
Alex James
2019-06-25 11:07:11 +0000 UTCLove this - at the time it was shown on the BBC and simultaneously at select cinemas (can only imagine the hype at watching it on the big screen) also there was a full night of live programming with cast and crew members from the past 50 years taking part (and getting slightly drunk).
Chris
2019-06-25 10:03:13 +0000 UTCWell up to this point there are 12 Doctors (including the War Doctor) but then we have the “No sir, all thirteen!” line come up. Whomst indeed🧐
Crystal D.
2019-06-25 09:55:26 +0000 UTCIt was well worth the wait!! I saw this in 3D at the cinema & it was spectacular. The editing here is so impressive removing Tennant & Piper from the credits as of course we knew they were in it. As Peter hs said Moffat was drained during S7 planning the departure of the Pond's and prepping for the 50th while also juggling Sherlock. He has said it almost killed him and he does not look upon it as a fond time but he's satisfied that the 50th came together in the end and was so well received. Once Christopher politely said no The War Doctor was not chosen less than two months before shooting. He spoke with the team and said "he needed an actor like John Hurt" and took a punt and asked him and very late in the day he was on board weeks before production. May he rest in peace 😢 If you haven't guessed it yet then this is why the queen was so pissed in S3 "The Shakespeare Code" 10 jilted her!! If you look very carefully there are Easter eggs everywhere throughout some stark bloody obvious but others seen only for a brief moment like Rivers shoes and more obvious the clamps from the S2 finale. Moffat really pulled this off but I'm sad he can't look back on it with total joy but I thank him for the joy he gave us.
Jason
2019-06-25 08:41:42 +0000 UTCLove this one. I had the same reactions as you way back in 2013. Lots of Easter eggs.... the two names on Coal Hill School, 10 marrying Elizabeth (he mentioned it to the ood in End of Time), a cameo from 12... there’s a lot there.
2019-06-25 08:04:10 +0000 UTCThis is the one I've been waiting for you to get to for ages. This is one of the most brilliant Who stories of all time. There are so many ways this could have gone wrong, but it's all so tight and moves the story into a new era without disrespecting what had come before. When Moffat started writing this special, he didn't even know that Matt Smith would be in it; the only actor who had already been secured was Jenna Coleman. The part that would eventually become the War Doctor was originally offered to Eccleston, who read the script (as it existed at the time) and by all accounts very seriously tempted to come back for it, but ultimately decided not to. That's why they don't show Hurt morphing into Eccleston in the regeneration; Moffat said that it was one thing to use some old footage in a scene where eight other old Doctors are also being represented with repurposed old footage, but putting something new in there like that would suggest that Eccleston had actually come in to film for it, and he didn't want to disrespect the man's decision. Writing and filming this special while also putting out a seventh series of the show was a nightmare, and it caused all sorts of production issues in series seven, but Moffat knew they had to absolutely nail it for the Fiftieth anniversary, and by god, he nailed it.
2019-06-25 08:01:05 +0000 UTCDoctor doesn't remember his own age. That's what Mofffat said. He (the Doctor) just says some number. And that's all. And great reaction, btw <З
