UNEDITED EXCLUSIVE: Doctor Who Season 11 Episode 4 REACTION!

I was not looking forward to watching this back for the first time since it's original showing, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it a second time round. I actually think it's Whittaker's best performance of the season so far, she lands some of the jokes well and it's nice to see Yas finally get a bit of development even if it's only by proxy, from her various family members being featured. However, I am REALLY not looking forward to watching the next one back... AT ALL.

Episode is fairly solid, but my love for it is pretty much solely because it introduced Thasmin as an idea. (Took Yaz way too long to answer that question...)

Had to psych myself up to watch this ep the first time around xD Also, not really relevant, but important to me, but i've always been a Rose x Doctor(whatever face) fan, never could quite get on board with River x Doctor(even tho it' s a fantastic storyline) HOWEVER once Yaz's mum made the comment about her and the Doctor seeing each other, SOMETHING just happened and now i'm a sucker for Yaz and The Doctor, and am quite enjoying the Thasmin community. ALSO Yaz is bisexual(we think), so that's super cool, for me at least ;) I feel like we're kinda back to the RTD era in terms of companion family inclusion(at least to some extent), because that was NOT something Moffat did, like I can not remember a name or a face from either Amy, Rory, Clara or Bill's family(except Bill's mom), so that's one of the things i like most about this ep.

Decent episode. Only issue is the morally confused ending. But other than that, it was a decent episode. I liked the final scene with the companions wanting to travel with The Doctor and the beginning was nice too. Spiders are a big nope for me.

I did love this episode. I'm a camp fan, though. And I like spiders, so them turning it into a sympathy for the spiders thing worked for me. I think perhaps they were going for satire with the hotel owner, but it's hard when reality is so weird. Still not sure we're not in a simulation. Anyway, the next one has some okay parts, but I definitely can't wait for the two AFTER that one.

Ah yes Doctor, seal them in a room and let them grow to death. It’s the “humane” thing to do. Also, I’m a little fuzzy on what your plan was to end the mother spiders suffering. Were you going to stand over it telling it how sorry you are as it slowly suffocates? But no, guns are bad regardless of context, even though bolt guns are very much a thing.

Probably one of the weakest ones for me too - although much better watching it now - the Trump bit came across very tacky at the time. Love the emotional side, it’s what this season really gets right (and the new intro lol)

Tbf I think Dropbox works better than Drive, at least for me anyways. Opening them Drive links on mobile can be a pain.

Not a groundbreaking episode by any means, but was okay. Another one that I like more than I have done previously. Love the reluctant goodbye from The Doctor, she really does remind me of the tenth Doctor at times.
